Loved this quirky little hotel! Comfortable, quiet, really friendly staff, nice style. Centrally located but not on a busy street. I slept so well, which was a nice change from most hotels. Will definitely return! ( I'll have to in order to finish the Rubik's Cube on the keychain!)
The hotel is in a good location, which is just off the main shopping street. Rooms were clean, uniquely decorated and comfortable. The price was good price, compared to other/larger hotels and what was received.
Nice ambiente where every keychain has a rubics qube and the bathtube is standing free. Sleeping is rather quite (at least from the 3rd floor) and the beds are comfortable. Initially there was only one bed in the room, but the sofa was converted into a confy bed before we could start to complain about it
We receive a very nice welcome. The hotel is furnished with fantastic design. If you travel to Brussels the location is perfect in the high side of the city and closed to the historic center and the museum.
Although the staff was pleasant and helpful, it took a while to get them moving as they sat in the courtyard of the hotel with some friends, it seemed. The rooms were not as I wuld have expected from the pictures, old furniture rather than vintage, very low lighting, no a/c, noisy when opening windows, minuscule shower. Breakfast was ok.
Great hotel with lot’s to look at (except in the rooms maybe!) deco is quite retro - although not normally my style was fun for a night or two! Loved the caravan parked out front that you can stay in. Great price and fun neighbourhood! If on a budget or want something out of the ordinary this is your place! *shower is tiny & can hear people in the hallway are the downfalls!
I really enjoyed this hotel and highly recommend it. It was quirky, had a cool 70's vintage feel to it, very nice staff, 4 very good beers on tap that can be charged to your room (when I was here in 10/17, there was Cantillion and Dupont among a couple others). They have postcards and the international stamps to send them which is nice. My only critique is that the bathroom in our room was also "vintage" but really it just made it feel not updated and legitimately old.
Very conveniently located, clean rooms, staff very helpful and genteel, good value for money. Enjoyed the atmposhere and the convenient yard outside (luckily it was sunny and not raining). Taxi called was also very good in service wise and reasonable fee. Recommended without hesitation.
This was the second time I've stayed at the Vintage Hotel, which for me is a rating in itself. As the first time I found it cosy, friendly and really well-situated. Just a couple of really small things ; - I had to run the shower for 5 to 10 minutes before I could get any hot water in the evening which is a terrible waste of water and rare in any hotel today. - The thing for boiling the eggs really isn't a great success and I gave up. Obviously, neither of these would stop me from going back because the service is so personal and homely. The coffee offered while I was waiting for my pick up is a tiny thing but much appreciated !
We had a great stay in Brussels, thanks to the Vintage Hotel. It's in a great neighbourhood of Brussels. Walking distance to mostly everything, except the Atomium (it's on the other side of the city). The rooms are very nice, clean. They have Nuxe soap available, which I happen to love. The beds are great and the staff is very nice. The shower however is a bit narrow, especially for tall people. The bathroom gets a bit wet when showering in the bath tub. Across the street (of the hotel) there is a decent public parking garage (approximately €18 / 24h). Just around the corner of the hotel there is a street with all sorts of very nice restaurants. Many locals come here! We'll be back!
