I loved this place - a bit quirky and in a great part of town. I would definitely consider staying here again. A really nice bar (that served a good wine and beer selection) - a great way to start the evening before setting off for dinner at one of the local restaurants.
Unfortunately we only had one night at this place, but it had a pretty cool vibe to it! Down a side street, it was quiet and unassuming. Staff were friendly and having a top floor room provided a view of rooftops (with a cool little pop out balcony/standing area!). Breakfast was great and had plenty of options.
This is a lovely quirky hotel that I have stayed in three times. I personally like the location as it's not far from the Marolles area and all of the vintage shops. However, although there are plenty of restaurants nearby (including an excellent Vietnamese restaurant directly opposite) the area is totally dead at night. The local bars shut at 10 on a Saturday night and unless you are planning on going downtown, you might want to consider this. But, it's just off Avenue Louise and the metro will take you downtown and even directly to the Atomium. Given the lack of bars, it's a shame that the hotel isn't able to provide a cosier bar area. As it stands, the hard seating and harsh lighting are not very inviting. Breakfast is now offered at €15 (it used to be included in the room rate). Given the relatively modest options and the fact that you have to make your own coffee and boil your own eggs (the only warm option), frankly it isn't worth it. So, nice hotel, poor breakfast and a v quiet area at night.
Nice and friendly staff and a nice cafe on the ground floor. The rooms were a bit small and plain, but nothing to complain about. It's in a good area as well, in walking distance to plenty of restaurants and the city centre.
Generally a great place for a short stay as the location is fantastic in the up-town centre, just off Place Stephanie, with plenty of public transport connections to just about everywhere in Brussels. Rooms and storage space is limited though so not ideal for long stays or if you have lots of luggage. The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was very comfortable. Would use again for a 1-2 nights' stay. The 'vintage' decoration gives a trendy and original look to the place.
Great location, nice restaurants just around the corner, very comfortable beds, very quiet area, clean rooms, excellent staff and very friendly service, perfect restaurant recommendation received, delicious breakfast.
Loved this quirky little hotel! Comfortable, quiet, really friendly staff, nice style. Centrally located but not on a busy street. I slept so well, which was a nice change from most hotels. Will definitely return! ( I'll have to in order to finish the Rubik's Cube on the keychain!)
The hotel is in a good location, which is just off the main shopping street. Rooms were clean, uniquely decorated and comfortable. The price was good price, compared to other/larger hotels and what was received.
Nice ambiente where every keychain has a rubics qube and the bathtube is standing free. Sleeping is rather quite (at least from the 3rd floor) and the beds are comfortable. Initially there was only one bed in the room, but the sofa was converted into a confy bed before we could start to complain about it
We receive a very nice welcome. The hotel is furnished with fantastic design. If you travel to Brussels the location is perfect in the high side of the city and closed to the historic center and the museum.
