The hotel opera is in an excellent location to explore Brussels..the staff are friendly and the hotel is clean and uncluttered...basic but accomadating 🌞the breakfast offers cereal, coffee, croissants and breads with hams and yogurt also is surrounded by many restaurants who all offer a varied menu?there is also many shopping areas and waffle shops galore..definitely would stay again

Stayed 4 nights over a weekend. It was hot, and with no aircon we had to choose between noise from the street and a hot room. The location is very central, the rooms clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast selection was limited, but okay. The breakfast room was very little and some days people was waiting to get a seat.

I stayed a long weekend in Brussels. My room was on the top floor facing the street and it was rather noisy until late. Bring earplugs so at least my problem was solved :). It's really in the city centre, lots of restaurants and pubs close by and 5 mins on foot to Grand Place. The breakfast was better than expected: different types of bread, cheese, ham, salami, egg, fruit, cereal. The breakfast room was very small, so be prepared to share your table with other guests. Staff was nice. Wifi was not the best and didn't work in the breakfast room at all. It looked nicer in the pictures - the room was clean but furniture and carpet are a little bit worn out.

Great location. Two blocks from Grand Place and in the centre of a lot of wonderful old streets and restaurants. A party area made it very noisy til 3 or 4am. Made it hard for us to sleep. Ask for inside room. Good breakfast included. Has elevator.

Good location, but at the evenings plenty of night restaurants around and very crowded and noisy. Walking distance to many places around, manneken pis and grand place all at walking distance. Metro also nearby.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Cons: the wifi was so slow and quit working multiple times! As an international traveler, this was so frustrating. The pillows were lumpy. The bed was hard. The sheets and linens felt old. Pros: close to a grocery store, and close to lots of touristy restaurants. About 5 minutes walk from the train station and from Grand Place. We had a room on the "first floor" which was really 15 feet off the street. With the windows closed, we wouldn't hear the noisy tourists outside. Free breakfast included-simple but enough to get something eaten.

I liked very much the location of this hotel, just near the main shopping street and the city center next door, with a lot of restaurants around. The room was very generous and a large bathroom which I appreciate very much.

Good thing is that it was in.Great location and had friendly staff. Breakfast was good for the price. Bad thing is that My room was very small. Blankets were without cover and they looked old and torn out and I could hear noise from street.

The hotel location is very good for whoever goes on holiday and wants to be right in the centre of Brussels, close to restaurants, bars and the main attractions. The personnel is very helpful, but the hotel is in need of a general refurbishment - I was given a tiny single room with quite old furniture and a carpeted floor that would creak at every step. I could also hear the conversations of my neighbours at a regular voice level. Wifi works well, TV in the room, breakfast was nothing exceptional.

Do not expect more than you pay. The location is excellent. You are right in the heart of the city and everything is close to the hotel. Grand Place is just around the next corner. This the best part of the hotel But the hotel itself is very basic and old but is clean and tidy. Breakfast is less than basic. Only two different bread types with a choice of butter, jam and chocolate spread and tea and coffee. Walls between the rooms are very thin so you can hear every sound and words from the room next door, so it can be difficult to sleep if it is occupied by drunk russians:-( The worst was that even though this hotel should be a non smoking property there was a distinct smell of smoke. But price is good so can you live with this, then this hotels location is absolutely the best.
