I have been in this hotel for 4 days with my family, the location is prefect ,room was very clean and very nice also the reception guys were so corporative ,we really enjoy our stay in this hotel and will back again.

We stayed at this hotel, smack, bang in the centre of Brussels, minutes walk to the Grand Place. Rue Gretry is lined with restaurants both sides of the pedestrianised street and they stay open until the early hours. Quite noisy but nothing obtrusive. Rooms spotless and comfy. No coffee maker but coffee houses open 7.30am. Definitely worth a stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and pretty much knew that for the price we paid it would not be a 5 star hotel. The room was small, but adequate and clean, the concierge was pleasant, spoke English and answered all our questions. We had a hard time finding it by car because of construction in the area and pedestrian malls around it. Call the hotel for the parking garage name closest to the hotel. Breakfast is not included. Restaurants all around in walking distance.

Hotel is centrally located in the city. Handy for the nearby tram/Metro for getting around the city of Brussels. Room was clean and tidy. No problem for eating out as the hotel is surrounded by eating establishments. Would use it again due to the location .

Great thing about this hotel is location, and that is only if you don't mind very crowded area and noise that goes till very late and starts early. Rooms are small, but clean. Breakfast needs to be scheduled before check in as you can't even add it during check in (so if you want it- book it online).

I stayed in Hotel Opera for two nights in March 2018 and payed more than 100 € per night. I arrived late in the evening and it was a pleasant walk from the city centre (note: never wear heels in Brussels!). The shock came once I was in my hotel room. The bed was small and short and the walls and windows were paper thin - I could hear every cough of my room neighbours and from above and from outside the window. So annoying if somebody else keeps you awake all night from coughing, talking on the phone and even from several mobile phone alarms at various times of the night/morning. The breakfast was also not very good, just average with very limited choice. But the breakfast ladies were really nice. The hotel also looked quite filthy and smelled bad. The only good thing is the location and the nice personnel. Thats why I rate this hotel as poor and not terrible. I can not recommend this hotel!

The room smalls of cigarette smoke, is very basic, not been cleaned properly, is next to a common area toilet. It's the standard of a travel lodge! No tea, coffee facilities. Not worth the money, even for the good location!

I have stayed at the Opera half a dozen times and, of its type, it the best hotel I know. It is very basic, and the rooms are small, but they are comfortable and the breakfast is good. On the other hand it is in a wonderful location and it is very cheap, which is a definite win. Most important of all, for me, is that the staff are flexible and friendly. I always have complicated reservation, bring in groups to study at the nearby university, and the Opera has never let me down. The trick, and TripAdvisor won't thank me for this, is to contact them directly. It isn't a chain with a central reservation system. You email them directly and you get a return, by return, from a person. I love it.

Opera Hotel location is very close to the Central Station and also to the Grand Place. We got a spacious room for our family of 4 to stay. The front office reception is not good and did not guide us properly to the rooms. The breakfast cost is high with very limited options. The road side view is very good and the Hotel is nearer to all the tourist attractions. It is very easy to get in to the metro or to the Central Station from this Hotel. It is not a quite place as there are several eating outlets adjacent to the Hotel.

The hotel is located close to Grand-Place, 10 minutes walk from Central Station, 5 minutes walk from Rodebeek metro station and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The rooms are small, but clean. Some of them, turned to the front street, can be a bit noisy in the evening. Breakfast is okay. Staff is very kind and helpful. It is fine for a short stay if you are not looking for luxury and glamour. The price is very convenient.
