The room smelled so bad we had to have the windows open even in the NC downpoors .room was so small there was a huge wall mirror behind the bed .that made it even tolerable becouse it made it feel less closterfobic. The rear entrance was broken and couldn't be used.the so called breakfast was boxed cereal and bread. No milk to be found. Would never go back. Even left a day ahead of time. WOW

Staff was great.....rooms not so much, but it was ok.

Although the room I stayed in didn't have a fridge or a microwave (it was a small room with only one bed), I found it to be very clean and the linens were well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was clean with plenty of hot water and the hotel itself was quiet and relaxing. All in all, for the price, I consider it a very good value. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The room smelled of smoke and as if something died in it. Have reported this and am expecting the refund

I thought the room was Ok. Nothing to rave about. It did what it needed to do. The room was very clean. I was peeved because the site map sent me on a goose chase!

When we arrived, we were supposed to have a no smoking room...it had been sprayed with something to deodorize it...so pretty sure someone had smoked in it. Mattress was past it's 7 year life(not comfortable at all). Then the upstairs gymnastics began. Had to call the front desk twice to get it stopped!! The morning "breakfast" consisted of stale muffins& donuts. Would not recommend this place to anyone...if I'd known how little the walls& floors were insulated... I would have stayed somewhere else!!

Shallotte is a wonder town but the hotel when we first got our room the tub had throw up in it. Was very appalled had to switch rooms which was better. The location I love because golden corral is right next door and its 15minutes from the beach. The room itself was OK I love the reflection mirror on the wall behind the beds, but I didn't feel like it was clean. The hotel appear to be aging and needs to be upgraded in the worst way

enjoyed our stay. The business enter was down the 2 days of our stay..tsk tsk The setting was very nice. The compact rooms were fine for us No room service and new towels not provided Breakfast could have been improved with the addition of bagels. Days Inn provides eggs and waffles;comparable room rate Clean throughout

I would not recommend staying at this motel, even for one night. The location is in an undesirable area and I know for a fact from being in the law enforcement profession that local persons staying here were doing drug deals. Vehicle traffic was steady until 4am. The room was filthy (sheets had not been washed) and the entire motel smelled of cigarette smoke. Patrons were smoking in the hallway and going from room to room all night. This place is not family friendly. The owners need to get a better handle on their property!!!

Only stayed one night but very clean just need more breakfast options. Staff very friendly.

We were in town for a wedding and stayed at the Econolodge. I did like the fact that they had free wi-fi, I did need it. The room was nice, clean, and the bathroom was much larger than expected. I thought the room listing showed a microwave in the room, that was a little disappointing. Other wise, nice place to stay.

The hotel look very nice on the outside, but when I got to see my room...oh my.I try to look at the tv,what a mess. You only could watch a fews channel. The bed..plese call for you..more pillows and blanket.

the beds were comfortable.... and liked location of the tv

The mattress on the bed was horrible, it was not comfortable to sleep on and the pillows were flat.Room was very small but was clean. Some of the channels on the Television were snowy.Room needs to have a coffee pot so we don't have to go downstairs.Walls are paper thin and the noise of slamming doors and running in the hall kept us awake. Will not stay there again.

Not Bad, We came down for a fishing trip and were looking for a decent place to sleep..I was very satisfied by the reception upon arival and the room accomadations, It is what it is, a decent place to sleep..I would stay away from the huddle house not easy to mess up breakfast but they found a way...
