There is no elevator. I had to carry my luggage up a flight of steps. I would not recommend this hotel for Seniors.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The deadbolt lock on the first room assigned did not work, the desk clerk did not hesitate to change rooms for us , however, the second room was not as nice as toe first room. The bathroom door ws off track and would not close and the top left corner was badly damaged, when I called to alert the desk clerk and female answered and snidely stated "didn't you just move to that room". She was not as willng to accommodate us as quickly as the male attendant. The brekfast was pretty good for a small hot breakfast selection.

Stayed at this hotel for five nights. Much better than I thought it would be. Located on US Hwy 17 and convenient to Holden and Ocean Isle beaches as well as Calabash. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was OK, but not spectacular. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again.

I had car issues when I arrived. The staff was extremely helpful & sympathetic. I had a problem with the toilet, they fixed it right away. Room was a little noisy from guests & parking lot.

The room was clean and the staff was very courteous.

Room price is not worth it! Room was not clean, found bags of open chips under the bed as well as behind night stand. Carpets were stained. No hot water for morning showers. TV (picture)was on its way out, and channel selection was poor. Overall was VERY disappointed in accommodations.

good price and will be back, clean rooms and good size , easy trip out to beaches

This was the second time I stayed. Overall it was good except my heater made a horrible noise all nite long. When I told the lady at the front desk she just said thanks

clean and nice, a good chouse, short drive to the beaches

Overall week had a good 3 day stay. Rooms were clean, pool was very nice. Breakfast could have been better. The only issue I really had was they put us on the second floor and as I said we stayed for 3 days so quite a lot of luggage and cooler and the hotel doesn't have an elevator. It was a hassle having to lug the cooler up and down the stairs every time we went to the beach. For the pricing of the hotel we were satisfied

Good value, good location, and the place was well kept and clean.

We felt the hotel was great, clean, breakfast was good, our only complaint would have to be the noise in the hallways could be heard through the doors....like people using ice machines were heard early in the AM in our room. Great place to stay that is very close to many beaches and attractions.

i guess you get what you pay for. first off the bathroom door would not shut without working with it. there were several flies in the room when we got there. there was old food left in the refridgerator that had not been thrown out. the microwave did not work.

Breakfast was not as good as it used to be and the rooms are really starting to show their age. Air conditioners were noisy. The hotel itself is loud. Can hear people going up and down stairs all night, using ice makers, going down the halls. Toilets made the loudest weird noises when you flushed them. Door handles on bathrooms were about falling off. The room had a weird musty smell to it. We've been using this hotel for several years now as a place to stay the night before our week starts at the beach house. So we aren't looking for much more then just a place to sleep for the night. But after this year we will be looking elsewhere.

Less than 10 minutes from beaches. Room was fine but no elevator for second floor. Breakfast was not that great.

Made my children and I sick. Desk chair was covered. They didn't offer a refund or free night or anything. Terrible!!

me and my wife stayed here 3 nights, was in a great location we visited a different beach every day. only bad was heater in our room set off smoke detector.

Hotel staff was friendly and efficient at check in. Lobby and rooms were clean and everything seemed to work well. Breakfast ended a little early on the weekend and guests slamming doors early in the morning trended to be quite loud. But over great value for the money.

We chose to stay at Days in Shallotte while visiting Myrtle Beach. We chose this location because it was pretty cheap and not far from the beach - We traveled with our 6 year old daughter. It certainly served our needs. It was about a 30 minute drive to South Beach and 15 from the North Beach. The North beach was super clean and by far our favorite. South beach is fun if you want to stop by Ripley's believe it or not - or check out the cute tourist shops. We did a little of both! The hotel staff was very pleasant. The cleaning staff was especially nice! The front desk was kind enough to drop off fresh towels after we came back from the beach. Breakfast was enjoyable, waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal and.. my favorite: lots of coffee. There aren't many sit down restaurants in the area - we simply picnicked on the beach and chose somewhere neat for dinner, Medieval Knights was by far our favorite dinner place, fantastic! Over all we saved a ton of money by staying here. I was clean (zero bedbugs), safe and quite. The pull out couch bed was surprisingly comfortable, our daughter chose to sleep on it rather than the bed! We will probably stay there again next year!

Leaking ac,place stinks.the staff acts concerned but they are helpless.its the cheap owner who wont fix up the place
