We booked this hotel to finish our bike and barge trip which started in Amsterdam and finished in Bruges. We were 3 couples and everyone was extremely happy with our pick. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection. The courtyard provided some place to meet for some downtime. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel staff were outstanding!

The hotel was very handy, just a few steps to the central area and the historiam. The room was clean and very quiet. Since it was warm, we appreciated the air conditioning. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. It's a very nice place to stay while visiting Bruges.

The hotel is conveniently located. Great view from the window. Quiet comfortable room, comfortable bed. Good enough Breakfast. We are pleased with our choice of hotel and will recommend to friends and acquaintances.

Mrs H & I visited Brugges last year and decided to do the same in June. Travelled by Eurostar and train to avoid the inconvenience of air travel. Guys it is so much earlier, pop on in London, off @ Brussel connecting train, second stop Brugges. Taxi to centre of Brugges where our hotel is situated 7 euros. So OHP is 200 yards from the main square in Brugges and though it see lesson blends into the cobbled streets is a gem. Clean tidy compact with an age and elagance befitting the Venice of the north. We stayed 3 nights and had a great time. Notes to be aware of: try and request a room at the back of the hotel, as the from is opposite a local bar. It only serves breakfast ( it's a good breakfast and the restaurant is sizeable. It's no issue as there are so many places to eat. Personally We enjoyed our stay but suggest that if the OHP upped their game 10% , added a few more staff, have a full time bar person and made more of the courtyard and gym/sauna, they could truly compete for a five star rating from Mrs H ans I. So overall, I would recommend OHP as a four star hotel, the hotel team are excellent the location is excellent and with a little bit more attention to detail it has the potential to be even better.

I surprised the rest of the family with an upscale hotel in Brugge, compared to the hotels we were staying at the rest of the trip. The Oud Huis de Peellaert was highly underpriced for the quality of the hotel, room atmosphere and amenities. A bit off the main square , the hotel was a welcome place to return to for a rest during the day in the formal sitting rooms, or for a drink in the formal bar in the evening. This was clearly our favourite hotel of the trip and we would gladly return there again.

We stayed here for 2-nights on a quick weekend trip and were so happy with the location, service, and accommodation. The hotel is very conveniently located to all the main attractions and everything is very walkable. The room we stayed in was quaint and well appointed. My only real complaint about the room was the bed; two twins beds pushed together but they had separate sheets so there was a huge gap between them, that was a bit uncomfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly which was a real treat! The bathroom was fine but the shower was oddly positioned. However, it had good pressure and hot water. The hotel bar is a beautiful representation of 18th-century European style and quite pleasant to hang out in. The breakfast buffet is very convenient and extremely well stocked. We also visited the spa and it was good, just remember to request a bathrobe from the front desk. All of the staff we interacted with were fantastic but especially Björn who gave us an amazing overview of the area and a brief explanation of the area linguistics. We would definitely stay here again!

My friends & I got moved to this hotel before we arrived from its sister Hotel Aragon due to double booking. We had booked Hotel Aragon in January 2017. We got compensated by having a bottle of champagne. This hotel is charming with high ceilings & chandeliers. The front staff of Rani & Bjorn were amazing through out our stay. We cannot praise them enough. The management of the hotel should ensure that they do not lose those two. Also think the management should give help to the front desk by employing more as there seemed to be only one person at any given time.

I've got to start by saying that the staff here are fantastic. They were really friendly and incredibly helpful in planning our trip. The hotel is gorgeous. Our room was spacious. And, it's close to the town centre. I'm so glad that I stayed here. Fantastic hotel.

My husband & I just returned from our second stay at Oude Huis de Peelaert and would happily return again in future. The hotel is in a fantastic location, being only a few minutes' walk from the central square. We parked in the Pandreitjie underground parking which cost EUR8.70 per day and was only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and our room on the second floor was a good size, well appointed and had lovely views out over Bruges. The airconditioning worked well and kept the room at a pleasant temperature, even over a very hot and humid weekend and the wifi signal seemed to be strong throughout the hotel. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was hot and pleasant. The breakfast was a big buffet spread with a lot of choice, although I'd recommend getting there relatively early, as they seemed to be running out of a few things when we got there towards the end of the breakfast time slot on our second morning. Overall this is a wonderful place to base yourself to explore Bruges from.

Wonderful hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in a deluxe double room which was well appointed and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was amazing .... something for all tastes. Would highly recommend 😊
