Felt like this was an example of price gouging in a very bad situation.
Really nice hotel, clean and the staff go out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. Great restaurant next door, try the lunch buffet. Pool area is clean and well maintained but is rather noisy being next to the road. However there is a BBQ area out back that is lovely in the morning.

I thought the rooms were spacious. The gentleman (Joe) who checked us in was very nice and accommodating. He moved us from the second floor to the first upon our request, however, the room we were given had an intense moisture problem. Everything felt wet. The next night I asked for a different room and I was given one on the second floor because they indicated that was all they had. The young lady nor I did not notice that this room also had a moisture problem. In fact, the floor had puddles. I had to walk back to the office because the phone did not work and she indicated that the maintenance guy would not be there until tomorrow...so do I want to move again?!!! No, my husband was tired of moving. All in all I think this hotel is a bit overrated. It is in need of some serious renovations.

We are so sorry you felt that way but our prices are not even higher than most of the other midscale hotels.
