Located uphill from the town of Stresa in the center of a nice small village overlooking the lake, this recently restored villa dates from 1400\'s and is related to the Visconti Castle located nearby. The owners have restored Paesino with great care leaving the details of the past in place.Villa Paesino Unit 1 sleeps four guests. Ground floor: Entrance from the patio into a large sitting room with a fireplace and dining table for 8. The well-equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee machine, washing machine) offers access to the patio. First floor: master bedroom with double bed, twin bedroom, large modern bathroom (shower).Villa Paesino is nicely furnished and very well-cared for. Each apartment has direct access to the upper terrace, telephone, and TV. Two hours of housekeeping per week is provided. Nearby Activities: In the village you can find various shops and restaurants. There is also a delicious take out restaurant in the village of Lesa (4 km). A sports club with 3 tennis courts and Olympic-size pool is only 10 km away. Guests may use the facilities for a daily or weekly rate. The beach is 4 km from the villa. There are 2 golf courses within 10 minutes by car and 7 more within 45 minutes. The ferry to other beautiful lake resort towns and islands docks at Belgirate just a 10 minute drive. The town of Stresa is within a 10 minute drive and Pallanza is 15 km north, Arona is 6 km south.
