Everything that I experienced was a plus and my stay was great
The NIGHT staff was rude, and very unprofessional. The room had a DIRTY SOCK left over from whoever stayed there, and the shower curtains were just disgusting. The sink wasn’t even close to clean as well
Hotel under construction no coffee pot in room and door stuck other than that pretty decent Motel very happy with the process in the room and bed for very comfortable and clean
It’s very old timey, make sure to bring wall chargers and definitely lock the dead bolt. Cheap place to stay the night but someone tried to break into my room.
Uh, I’m all about cheap lodging if it’s for less than 12 hrs...but this place...I don’t know who stays there. The linens WERE clean...no dust...but no room phone (creepy), but the shower probably hasn’t been turned on in a year. No hot water...didn’t want my skin to touch anything in there. It was super cheap though...but I definitely got what I paid for. Next time I’ll probably spring for a la Quinta
The Brooke Hotel is run down and creepy. The room is a furnace when you first walk in, a number of the lights didn't work, the furniture was beaten up, the sheets were itchy, and my non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The Motel 6 chain is comparable in price, and is a MUCH better experience. I will be needing hotels in the area soon, and I will plan never to go to this one again.
Hairs in the bath tub.. dirty shower curtain. Smell in the room.. run down hotel.. wasted money for the stay.. uncomfortable the entire time
Only needed a 2 rooms to sleep and eat continental breakfast the following morning before driving ahead. Had guaranteed late arrival. Had to show clerk [...]documents to in order to register and establish price. (IT system was off.) Both rooms were not pre-heated and neither of the heat pump thermostats worked until a maintainence person came and replaced batteries.
Good clean affordable hotel. Fast and friendly checkin.
Hotel is very old and tired. Most units have no A/C units at all, and the first room we were given had no working A/C (90 degree heat in Houston), no bulbs in the lamps, TV didn't work, and no phone. Walked back to the desk, and was assured that we could get another room that was "much better". It too, didn't have a working A/C unit, but maintenance was called and it was (somewhat) repaired. Settled in and then was alarmed when my wife had a cockroach crawl onto her in the bed. Some kind of heavy equipment yard next door - awoke us at about 4:30 a.m. with the sound of dump trucks warming up. Got no sleep, couldn't wait to leave. Take this one off your list.

I am sorry for the uncomfortable stay that you had with us. We are under remodeling our hotel to make things better for our future guest.
