I had to pay to check in early understandable however wish check was allowed earlier

The only impressive aspect of this glorified flophouse is that it siphoned $140 a night from my wallet. The walls were filthy, I had bugs crawling on my bedroom wall and I am not exaggerating. I informed the frnt desk and they could have cared less. One look at the bed and I slept on top of it, but not before first covering the bed with the bath towels. I was there for a total of six nights and on two separate occasions police had to arrive to stop fighting going on. Both took place on the top floor, where I was staying, the incidents were unrelated yet it appeared the issues with the same: One person disrespected the other person and the first person was not standing for it. First loud shouting, then it escalated to the point where screens were heard, foul and life-threatening language. And in both instances after the cops left, and one case an arrest was made, the arguing continued so no, I do not recommend this place. Management was not sympathetic towards anything

The location appeared unsafe. The room was dirty and smelled of cigarette. This was a nonsmoking room!! The microwave was defective. There was constant noise from the traffic.

Terrible staff, trashy hotel, and the room smelled like cigarettes. 0/10 would never recommend!

Especially liked the covered parking area. During our two day stay we appreciated all the toiletries (even mouthwash) and the large flatscreen TV. Everything was very clean and included a medium sized refrigerator despite the rather compact square footage of the room...all for a very reasonable price. Adjacent to freeway ramp, a few blocks from bikepath, but did have some freight traffic early in the morning with the shipping docks so close by. We will definately stay here in the future.

This hotel was horrible! It was in the middle of no where. A friend from Manhattan was supposed to meet me and he had no idea where it was. There were sketchy projects behind the hotel. Call girls in the lobby, drug dealers outside, thick. Smoke in the hallways, cameras everywhere, one person working and he was rude, and to top it off when i checked in there was a sign saying NO CHILDREN ALLOWED! Save ur money and go to a chain hotel because this one is privately owned and the owner can do whatever he wants... Including nothing. I was scared and I'm from Boston.

My son and I stayed here for two nights while working in Brooklyn. Not a lot for the money but it was clean, good cheap price, and the staff was very accommadating to your needs. Gave us a map for the train, additional towels, but doesn't have internet or copies, etc... We will stay here again when working in the city in order to save a lot of $$$$$.

overall good, 10-15 mins walk to nearest subway station. Staff was nice.

I was coming in to NYC FOR NEW YEARS WEEKEND 2011 and found that the location of the hotel was a bit pedestrian and quite walk able if it wasnt for the bitter cold temp. Aside from the busy highway like location the hotel was at, the rest of facilities seem to be quite fitting and nice....

The room itself was very clean and quite nice, although it was very small. The lobby of the hotel was the most negative part of the hotel. It would give anyone a bad impression. The receptionist is behind a glass wall to prevent robberies and there is a sign concerning "short-term" rental (use your imagination). The staff was friendly and helpful. It is about 1/2 mile to the nearest subway, but the walk is through a neighborhood that seems quite nice, although the first block nearest the hotel is industrial. There is road noise from the BQE, but I can sleep through anything. I would stay here again, but not if I were travelling with my wife.

the whole was really...... So so The hotel staff was ok

ok. The staff is just....ok The room is pretty new and the room is really small, they didn't even clean the room for us
