The building has such a wonderful history
My stay was very peaceful. If you looking for rest and relaxation this is the place. The only problem was… housekeeping didn’t change the bedding. Terrible! The staff was great at handling the issue and worked promptly. Thanks Carlos!
My son was stuck at LaGuardia airport because of flight cancellations. I reserved this room for my son who is 20. He was told that he couldn’t check in at 11:00 pm to sleep for a few hours. The room was paid for and the front desk tells him that he had to be 21. I’ve traveled a lot and this undo stress was absolutely uncalled for. When it comes bro hospitality this hotel was horrific!! Front desk gentlemen should be fired asap!!!

The History
A beautiful piece of history. Not the best area but you would never know once inside. Dunkin Donuts across the street and fast food options close by. We had grubhub deliver one of the days from a local restaurant which was pretty speedy. There is gated parking available though there are only 5 spots. Checking in right at 4 pm will better your chances. The Hotel was very clean, breakfast was included and yummy. The front desk staff were polite and very helpful. A 20 minite drive/busride to the Bronx Zoo certainly was convenient.
