The property is beautiful and the rooms are lovely but I was unprepared for the excessive markups on everything from a bottle of water ($10.00) to a group yoga class (65.00).
Everyone was lovely and the service/attention impeccable. The resort restaurants are a bit pricey and the mattress needed replacement (it was sunken in on both sides) but otherwise a fabulous trip!
HAVE STAYED IN VIRGIN GORDA SEVERAL TIMES BUT THIS WAS THE FIRST EXPERIENCE AT LITTLE DIX BAY. BY FAR AND AWAY THIS WAS THE BEST LOCATION, BEST FOOD AND BEST SERVICE. HOPE TO RETURN MANY TIMES IN THE FUTRUE.
We were needing a relaxing getaway where we could do as much as or as little as we wanted. This was the perfect place to go for both. Gorgeous beaches. Great local restaurants. Attentive staff.
This our second visit to Little Dix. This time, we went to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary, and got upgraded to a nicer room with a bottle of sparkling wine! The room was nice, but it smelled a bit, but with the windows open and the fan running it was okay. The Beach drop off are the best. We're definetily coming back...
We loved The Little Dix Bay Resort in Virgin Gorda. What really set this resort apart was the GREAT staff. Here the staff genuinely cared that you had a good time and were comfortable. Unfortuneatly Hurricane Irene was near the last 2 days but the hotel insured that we had everything we needed to weather the storm. The surroundings are beautiful.
From Bedside turn-downs the evening we arrived, to a beach-side dinner the night before we left...Little Dix was all we had hoped! A little gem!
The front desk did not have my reservation from [...]. Normally, they would provide pick-up service from the ferry landing, but since they did not have my reservation, I had to make the 10-minute drive myself. I thought that was tacky since I paid $400 a night and they did not seem interested in helping me in the least bit.
Our experience at Little Dix Bay was exemplary. From service, location, and the ammenities - all were world class. Come here if you want to relax and restore.
