Lovely to have a spacious, clean, well-equipped apartment with decent balcony and with use of a 25mtr pool (which outlooks a park and across the river) - within easy walking distance of Queensland Art Gallery and ferries (and assortment of dining places).
Stayed recently at the Oaks Casino Towers Brisbane for 2 nights. Why the location was superb the accommodation itself was not impressive. The room had large amounts of fluff/lint on the fire extinguisher in the roof (hanging down) and around the kitchen area. Would appear from past tenants utilising the clothes dryer and cleaners not completing their task properly. The room all over wasn't superb and I question whether I would stay at this location again. The traffic was a nightmare getting to the parking area which cost an extra $30 per night on top of the stay. In all average stay and I have stayed in better.
So ladies night in Brissy. 4 women hit the town. Oaks Casino Towers is located within walking distance of most key attractions of Brissy and a short distance to the City Cat wharf if you wish to go further afield. We caught ferry back from the Powerhouse to the city. Hotel is well appointed with modern decor. Our 2 bed apartment on the 26th floor was spacious and equipped with everything you need, and included a balcony looking over the river. We requested 4 single beds, and that bed was super comfy and snug when coming home in the wee hours of the morning! Good shower too! There was a minor hiccup with parking as the guest parking is allocated to specific spaces, however this was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Price for the night might seem a bit on the high side but split between four of us, it was reasonable! Looking forward to the next night out!
This place was absolutely disgraceful....I travel extensively and never have I experienced such a filthy appartment. The glass on the balcony hasn’t been cleaned since I don’t know when. Covered in spit and cringe. The tiles were black....glasses had lipstick on them still. Bedhead and lamps covered in dust. Microwave had food on the outside....oil all over oven and kitchen cupboards. The list is endless please consider carefully before booking.
Stayed in the Casino Towers for a week and found it to be reasonable but getting tired and in need of an update. The location is great in the CBD and entering the foyer, you feel you're in a new and modern hotel; until you arrive at your room. My first room was musty with inoperative A/C, but I was moved without fuss. The rooms are old showing wear & tear with housekeeping services being quite limited. They left a card in the room day 1 advising what would be done, but even then, two items on the very short list were overlooked. I think you can have a much better hotel in the CBD for a similar price.
Lots of rooms have beautiful views. Location is excellent. Beds are extremely comfortable. Room rates are reasonable. Would be nice to have WIFI included in the room rate though. I would choose this accommodation every time I travel to Brisbane.
Loved everything about my stay. Awesome rooms, amenities and service. Great location. Close to Convention Centre, Casino and great Shopping Centre. Definitely my choice of accommodation when in Brisbane for business or social. Thank you :)
Veey nice apartment hotel, Great staff, very freindly and helpful. Parking available but when booking through travel sites they lack information about this and if you wait until checkin there is a chance it will be all booked out, like it was for us and then it can be an issue to find reasonably priced parking near by. Rooms are great, they have everything you kneed from kitchen appliances, oven, stove, washer and dryer and very comfy beds. The balcony is quite large and most have views of south bank and the brisbane river but not all and some are mixed between river and city views, like ours was but still great to sit out on and have a drink and relax on. Very happy with our stay and left very relaxed
It was a nice apartment for us, the location is perfect for a city break, for both shopping in the queen street area, and relaxing on the south bank. The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable. The front staff especially James gave us lots of support and advises during the period, we are so appreciated to his help. Highly recommend this hotel !
We stayed here for work. I didn't love it. It wasn't that clean. The surfaces weren't wiped down well. I did like having the balcony. Location, wasn't great for the weekend but during the week I am sure it would have been better - the city shuts down on the weekend. A bit of a ghost town. I can understand why families would stay here, it was very economical
