Absolutely disgusting, our sheets were definitely not clean, stains everywhere, mould on walls, very noisy, Gordon Ramsay would probably advise to burn the place down. Unfortunately had to book as last minute, photos on website very deceiving,
Sorry disappointed in this hovel. Unfortunately not much accommodation left on our night so booked this hovel. Nothing like the pictures on website...DODGY Waste of money, scary as and not to any Australian standard should not be able to charge money or even call it accommodation...YUK
This place is very dirty and the noise from surrounding places was so bad it kept me up all night. Very bad place The floor was very dirty in the room. The shared bathroom looked like no one had cleaned it and I was not keen on showering there. The loud noises from others were still going when I left at 05:55 this morning.
We just wanted a place to sleep before our flight. It was very disappointing. 1 grubby towel for the two of us and s SHARED bathroom. That's a first for us- even at the cheapest hotel I have never come across a room where strangers in the adjoining room share the bathroom that opens into our room. Lucky for us we arrived first and had use of the only bath mat. Very over priced for what u got.
After booking this hotel through Agoda last fortnight ,we approached the reception desk and were told our room had been double booked and that we were being given an up grade , after dragging our huge suitcases up 3 flights of stairs ,we were absolutely horrified at the slum city room we were expected to stay in !! , filthy carpet , bed head hanging off the wall ! the most disgusting dirty shower and toilet ! , the fire alarm hanging from its wires and the only thing that room needed was a bomb ! .What a blatent mis representation of the room advertised ! W e got ourselves down those stairs as quick as we could ,dropped the keys back and lost our money ,pictures to follow . we then went a few doors up to the beautiful Airport Ascot hotel which was perfect .
nothing special but clean and convenient to the airport. They have a shuttle to the airport for $15 which you boo and pay for the night before. Close to the cruise terminal so you can walk there for dinner.
The first thing I noticed on arrival to the room was the SMELL! yuk!!! Then I stopped and looked around - hoping to find something positive but alas. The place was filthy. The sheets were dirty and I had a big random black hair in the bed.. The sheets and the towel smelt like someone's B.O. Bathroom was as grotty as hell and I opted to not even shower!-complete with pubic hairs. Neither of the two windows locked so keep opening in the night so I could enjoy the sounds of the traffic. One window had no curtain so HELLO WORLD! plus rather bright first thing in the morning. Sat on the bed (after pushing the bedhead back onto the wall) and booked another room for the rest of my stay. Have gone to Airport Ascot Motel and it's HEAVEN!
Very disappointing and not at all what one would expect for the money paid. Advertising photos misleading. Rooms are very outdated, not clean, cramped. Shared bathroom between two rooms not particularly secure either. Rattling old box air conditioner in wall. Bed(definitely not king size as advertised) jammed up against one wall. Blanket on one bed moth eaten and found someone else's hair on bedsheets. Couldn't stand the the thought of staying there so went next door to a motel which was everything you would expect from a decent motel!
I can't understand how this establishment can be classed as a motel. It is very seedy, shabby, dirty and univiting. The room smelt the carpet was threadbare, the tiles were mouldy, my blanket had large moth holes, and to top it all off, I had a hair on my sheet, which was also very wrinkled!!! We grabbed our bags and fled next door to the Haceander, a proper motel. Travellers beware!!
clean room, free wifi, mattress hard, no lift, 10 mins walk to Hamilton Inn pub, had good meals and the town was different with lots of small cafes and shops. Could not believe how far away from the airport most of the hotels were
