don't be fooled by the low price, this hotel delivers great bang for buck. however, there were two points that were lacking the internet is totally unusable speedwise, and the beds, or at least the one in my room, were horribly outdated spring mattresses. not the worst i've slept in, but certainly not up to par with everything that is awesome about this place. granted, with a great location like this one right on the edge of all the cool downtown stuff, you won't want to stay in the room more than you have to. full kitchen and deck were a real bonus for the extended stay. i would totally stay here again.

The staff were extremely helpful - went above and beyond.

free buffet breakfast deal best views of the city walking distance to downtown dining room meals was exceptional beautiful lobby only negative, dining room lacked ambiance, felt and looked cold. look forward to next stay

The beds were clean & no bed bugs, but the facility is run down & uncomfortable. Still, there was a fridge, micro & toaster oven. A couple of dishes, but the staff is willing to bring more upon request.

The hotel should not be a four star one. It's more like 3 star. Location is ok, price is ok, but rooms are bad. It's noisy, the beds and mattresses are old, the AC is in bad position /on top of bed/ so it blows all over you when you sleep /big hazard to get sick/. The rooms are big. The views is good from the high floors with balcony. Location is ok, but when you are going back to hotel, you go up the hill.

we, a group of three, stayed in the hotel for two nights. two of the three rooms could not connect to internet. after more than 2 staffs' lenthy fix, we had to change rooms to get on internet. the condition of the hotel is plain and old. we were told that they would charge us $10/night for internet service only when we checked out. and we got overcharged since we only used 3 nights#2+1# for internet but they charged us $60.

Location is great, cost is lower than most places in Australia, good value.

Room well-equipped with kitchenette. Hotel parking facility is difficult to find (uses narrow back streets), difficult to navigate, and uses car-elevators for parking.

This hotel was close to central station, and also central Brisbane. It was convenient. But room itself was not so good. At first, It might come from old ness of machine, it took time to open the door of room. Some times, It took 3-5 minute and once, I had to change the key. The cleeness of the room was not enough. Someones hair were stick to bathtab and some insects were in there, too. I will not recommend this hotel in future.

I was upgraded to a larger room upon checking in as they noticed i would be there for seven nights. although i had to wait till after check in time because they had not yet finished cleaning. Very close to the mall, grocery stores and easy to walk anywhere you'd like.

Location is perfect for shopping and visiting local attractions.

Great location, but very disappointing hotel. More like a glorified hostel. Disgusting smell in the halls...perhaps it was from fumagation, as there were cochroaches everywhere. We were on a 3-week tour of Australia and booked knowing we'd need to do laundry at the hotel. Their laundry rooms were worse than college dorm facilities. Only a handful of machines, and only 2 worked -- and the working washer was in a completely different location than the one working dryer.
