Disappointed the hot tubs were closed & the WiFi wasn’t working

This is a rebranded 70s style Holidome type property. They have done a decent job making it not feel like a sleazy no tell, but its definitely older and it shows. However it was mostly clean, the pillows and beds were comfortable, and the AC was loud but worked ... maybe a little too well. Unfortunately, there were no blankets on the beds, just two sheets and a runner, so it got a little chilly. The night staff person that checked us in was not particularly friendly, but she was efficient. The morning staff were very friendly. I didnt get a great vibe from the worn and peeling pleather couches in the lobby, but the rock work on the fountain areas was pretty. Overall, i would not stay here again. I may be a little bougie, but its worth a few bucks more to stay in a place that has a better look and feel. I booked late at night and had instant regret when we pulled up to the property. But if you just need a relatively clean place to sleep, and make sure to scrounge up blankets before you get to your room, it will probably fit that bill.

It’s a little old and needs updated but was clean. The pool and slide was terrific. No wifi, Breakfast, fitness center, or hot tub right now. It was good for what we needed.

We actually checked out of the property shortly after checking in. It was very dirty, smelly, moldy, etc. It is run down and for the price not worth it at all. The staff was quite helpful and friendly and gave us a refund.

The pictures look lovely, but the property is very dirty. The staff was friendly, and helped us with getting an extra cot. However, when we opened it, we found mouse poop. The carpet was stained and dirty. The door was paper thin and noisy in the hall. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and hard. They promised breakfast on the website but there was none. Towels were threadbare. Rooms smelled very moldy and musty.

little roaches in your rooms at night

There was blood on the bathroom door of the initial room I was assigned as well as crumbs of some sort on the couch. I asked to be reroomed. My next room had two roaches. Room service never came the entire five days I was there and every time I called the front desk to ask for more towels, nobody would answer. I had to go to the lobby at least 3 separate times every time I wanted more towels and they kept saying they’ll have it sent to my room and it never showed. Took an hour just to get towels EVERY day, set us back on our vacation schedule quite a bit. Lady at the front desk caught an attitude when I told her I never got any towels saying “she (room service lady) brought you those.” How are you going to tell me?? No she didn’t. It smelled awful in the hallways because the pool is in the middle of the hotel (in the lobby area?) and it seems like it has poor ventilation. Like a mixture of mold and chlorine. Anyway, I hated it here. Felt gross, hostile, poorly managed, and in my opinion the sanitation rating should be significantly lower than 96. Also! There was a man, clearly intoxicated with something, lingering by the main door closest to our room.

Very poor attention from the staff no breakfast is included

The staff was excellent at check-in, during our stay and at check out. The rooms were bright and clean. My husband and I have stayed the past 3 yrs visiting the mountains and each time we visit we habe noticed more improvements being made to the hotel and property. We will definetly will stay again.

Condemn the building and start over. The staff was great though.

Terrible customer service, they were really grumpy about everything. Made me wait until exactly 4pm to check in with three kids in tow at 3:35pm. Had to ask for extra towels to which they rolled their eyes and admonished me for using room towels in the pool area. We witnessed a drug deal going down in the parking lot at 6pm on Sunday night going to dinner, which was really scary with the kids. Grab and go breakfast options were abysmal with rotten oranges and soda instead of juice. They only great thing was the slide and pool. Property overall was somewhat dated and poorly managed.

Roaches were in my restroom. Stains are in the carpets. AC unit is terrible and old. I will never book here again.

No breakfast and arcade.

Common areas very hot, due to room A/C units venting heat into the hallways and pool/spa co-located with lobby/gift shop/lounge. Beds OK, but not real good. A/C took more than 2 hours to cool room to tolerable level, and was noisy. Location was very good for us, though.

So the rooms and facilities were clean but very old. It was obviously an old outdoor entry hotel converted into an indoor/secure entry hotel. The oddest thing is that all the rooms A/C units vent to the hallways so when moving through the building it’s like walking through a sauna. Staff was fine. Area around the hotel is kind of sketchy… several vacant buildings that probably should just be torn down. Still no breakfast service (covid) and hotel restaurant is closed two days a week … of course the days we are here.

Nice Hotel with friendly and accommodating staff.

Room was ok, felt like a bad dream where I was transported back to the 90s. Needs updating, the pool was the best part I suppose. Heating and air is so off throughout place as well.

I liked the pool and slide. I didn't lije the fact that there was no supervision on the slide. Kids climbing up water slide as others coming down. They didn't have elevators, so it is hard with someone who has walking issues. The gift shop was not a gift shop, and there was no gameroom, as the brochure displayed. I understand that due to covid, they may not be able to utilize that feature, i feel they beed to update thier brochure.
