I should have known from the moment that I checked in that this stay wouldn't be good. The biggest question that the manager/owner at the front desk wanted to know was what time I was leaving the next day. Upon entering the room, we noticed that the couch was covered in nasty stains, the bed's headboard was worn...like somebody's head had hit it over and over again in the same spot, rubbing off the stain. Every surface appeared to have been wiped down with a dirty rag. The lamp shade was so old and cracked you could touch it and it crumbled and broke beneath your fingers. Of the two tubes of shampoo and sad little bar of waxy soap that was left on the bathroom counter, one tube had been used and was leaking. Whoever cleaned the room must have been trying to beat their personal best because there's no way someone spent more than 5 minutes in that room! When I checked out and complained about the condition of the room, the same manager/owner seemed flabbergasted that I would think the room was in poor condition. Do yourself a favor...stay somewhere else!
Gave me a king bed instead of 2 twins. Then charge me more fir the twins. I was staying with my 22 yo daughter
It was 90 degrees and the air had been off all day. We checked in at 7 and the room did not get slightly cool until around 2 in the morning. The covers had a stain and breakfast was not served the next morning. We only stayed there bc they were the only one's in Hempstead. Next time I will just drive the minutes to either Cypress or Brenham .
Just after checking in got word that my father had passed away..hadn't opened the door to my room yet...went back to ask desk lady if she could refund my money..you paid online, can you give me a receipt, you'll get one in your e-mail. told the lady I didn't have time to argue, had to get back home and left.
Room faced freeway and was a little noisy. Staff could have been more friendly
