A peaceful getaway from the city, The Christmas Hill Cottages are nestled minutes away from Lake Somerville. Here, idyllic, sun-filled days will be full of boat rides, sandy reading sessions at Welch Park, and peaceful hikes and mountain bike rides at Lake Somerville State Park & Trailway. You'll also be just 30 miles from College Station, the home of Texas A&M.

Combining the perfect mix of farmhouse charm and modern elegance, the cottages are designed by Houston's Williams House LLC. In both, you'll fall in love with the open-concept layout, well-equipped kitchen, restful sleeping quarters, and sizable bathroom with a walk-in shower. Accessible by ladder, the upstairs loft space is perfect for younger guests if you are visiting as a family. A stackable washer/dryer is even available for your convenience.

Outside, enjoy each other's company and the radiant weather from the front and back porches as well as walking trails in the back woods.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
The cottages are 100% off-grid and powered by solar with full functionality of all appliances.

Prior to your arrival, you will receive local host contact information, who will manage your guest reservation. Your local host will provide in-stay support, secure entry, and arrange pre- and post-stay housekeeping services.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
