Awesome hotel in awesome location.
This was a very nice hotel we stayed in. Everything was first class.
Enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it! It is right on the Danube river and we were lucky enough to get the side that faced it on an upper floor (they only have 5 floors though!). Really close to bus station which makes it easy to go see Devin Castle. Right by downtown, like walking distance to most things. Hotel was refurbished a few years ago in an older style look, not a huge room and doesn't have much room for storage but still comfortable and has the expected amenities. Has a little balcony which is more for show since it's too small to sit out there, but was a nice little bonus. The spa area was nice, good indoor pool and it also had a Finnish Sauna which was fun. Breakfast buffet was just ok, I definitely have had better though. They had a somewhat wide range of food but it wasn't always replenished so when we would go down for breakfast some things seemed to be gone or sitting out for some time.
WE loved this hotel--clean rooms, overlooking water, cheap wine, perfect location, sweet staff, GREAT breakfast, free internet. We wrapped a 6 week euroasian tour with 4 days here as this is where ryan air flew--and LOVED it. FOod was great, beer was cheap, and this hotel was swell. gym was basic, but thai massage was great considering you are in slovakia.
