Our room smelled very bad; like mold. I asked to be moved and the next room smelled worst. About 11:15 pm when we got back to the room there were bugs flying around in the room. After speaking to evening staff: they moved us to the 3rd floor. The staff expressed that the hotel knew there were issues with my current room and couldn't understand why they booked us in that room. So frustrating. Literally like our time and money meant absolutely nothing. The AC didn't work on the 3rd floor room; but there weren't any more flying bugs and I could breathe. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. And I won't be going back.

We had a 4 day stay. First night was okay. Second night I woke up at 2:30am with water leaking on my forehead from the ceiling. Bed was covered in a yellow ring of water. They were quickly to give us another room but I had to move my whole family around this time including little kids which wasn’t fun. The new room had a strong mildew smell and the tiles in the bathroom were broken. Bathtub had black stuff all on the bottom. I didn’t even want to bathe my little one in there. We were in this small town for a funeral so I figured we could tough out a couple more days. Third night we had just came in around 8:30pm from being at the funeral all day. Thought we may finally get some rest, I was wrong. Just when I was getting my kids into pjs, Gunshots were heard right above us on 3rd level. Turned out to be one officer dead and another in critical condition. We were on lockdown the entire night. Although the hotel has no control of this, no information was ever given or anyone coming to check on us. We laid in a corner in fear with our kids the entire night as we could hear the hotel surrounded by multiple police units. The loud stomping and breaking into the rooms above us scared my son. We did not stay the fourth day as we checked out early in the morning. It was a pretty traumatic stay to say the least. Still waiting to see what can be done about this whole situation.

My son and I stayed at the comfort inn from the looks when we got into the room it was fine, until i pulled back the sheets the next morning. It was blood on the fitted sheet and the mattress cover. When I told the head housekeeper she tried to tell me that it was from a blood nose or teeth
No thermostat in room. It was too warm on the lowest heat setting even and it was 15 outside
The beds were comfortable hotel staff was really friendly, the property looked like a nice property
The bed was very comfortable! I would stay here again.
