This hotel is still in the midst of what seems to be a very long remodel. My feeling is that this remodel shall be like turning a sows ear into a silk purse. The property is quite old and I'm not sure that with all they do, that it shall ever be all that nice. The (new) bedding and fixtures they have put in are nice. I know this remodel has been on going since at least August and by the looks of it it shall be going on for the foreseeable future. The hotel is still very rough and I don't have confidence in the installation of new carpet (had waves and rolls in it), among other things. The climate control and bathroom fan are still quite dated and in poor condition. In the long run a tear down and rebuild may have been the better solution! If you are looking for a cheap night's sleep & don't mind the rough look, this may be the place for you. If you have a fussy spouse, just say NO! Happy Travels, Tim

I was looking for an inexpensive, basic place to stay, and I found it. The room was clean and comfortable, but the halls and common areas were fairly shabby.

Everything was great my only complaint would be the tv not many channels like only 6 . i didn't call down to desk I just didn't watch the tv ..but I did miss my program .. I will stay there again

Friendly staff, great pool, and awesome hot tub. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The rooms are a little dated but clean. Staff was friendly & helpful. The pool area is exactly like the pics. Breakfast was ok. Not much variety. Good place if you're passing through looking to sleep & shower. Great location. Awesome wings at Motor City Cafe across the street. Would stay again.

If you just need to sleep, it's an OK place. It was 3:00 am and I just needed to crash. If you are looking for a nice vacation hotel, keep a moving. Hallways were HOT even at 3:00 am. I had to fix the TV to make it work. Linens were definitely cheap. Not a good hotel to sleep in at as you get the traffic noise early in the morning. Free Wifi was nice though. Again, if you just need somewhere to crash for the night, can't go wrong for the month.

room was nice. Indoor pool was open and nice. Staff was friendly

Hotel is in a good location. Clean, everything worked properly. Breakfast is sparse, but served the purpose - cereal, bagels, muffins, coffee, milk and OJ. Biggest problem is I booked a smoking room and they gave me a non smoking saying they couldn't change the room since it was through here. If you can't provide the room I booked, you should contact me so I can make other arrangements.

We live in Nashville, TN and were looking to get away overnight, near home, at a hotel with an indoor pool and hot tub. I found this hotel and booked online. We arrived around 6 p.m. and checked right in. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. It just took a few minutes. We asked for a noon check out, the posted checkout is 11 a.m., and she said that was no problem. The room was clean and comfortable and the pool and hot tub were very clean. We had a nice evening. With the later check out we were able to enjoy an extra hour in the pool. The clerk who checked us out was very friendly. I almost forgot some contact solution but the housekeeper brought it to the front desk while we were still there. We will definately be back to this hotel.

For the cost, i really have know complaints. The outside pool was closed and thats ok, but i think they should have went ahead and closed it instead of leaving a full GREEN pool for everyone to see. Over all though, very satified and this is our second stay there.

it was ok. Very dirty we would stay there again. But dirty

Great location. Good swimming areas. The room was clean and comfortable. Only thing that was questionable was someone was sleeping on the floor of the lobby by stair when we arrived.

Good stay. Very friendly staff. Hallways were pretty hot though.

Halls and carpets filthy. No tv remote in room ,had to go to the office to get one and then the batteries were dead. Said there was breakfast included but it consisted of two kinds of cereal some cheap prepackaged rolls, no juice or coffee available and this was at 7am.

The first room we had, someone must have gotten sick in the room as it smelled terrible. I reported it to the front desk and the staff provided a new room; however the new room did not have the large T.V. as promised. The pool was ok, however the breakfast was minimal and unstaffed, so was very messy. I would stay there again, as it was reasonably priced, but had problems.

The only staff I worked w was the desk guy, super cool, recommended great Mexi rest. Safe place, could use a good cleaning in halls but room was fine, new furniture, fixtures. Didn't use pool or hot tub and breakfast was weak, but for $50, I was good w a muffin. Big name Coffee across the street. Internet connection SUCKED! that was a problem since I was trying to work so went to above mentioned coffee for best net.

Staff nice and requests were met. Breakfast wasn't much. Side exit door doesnt stay locked at all. Pool and room could have been cleaner.for sure. Noisy. But it does have both indoor pool & spa as well as outdoor pool.

Needed to grab a quick sleep. It was cheap ($45) and super clean. That's all I wanted. Pool and Hot tub area looked clean and nice, but I didn't use either. Breakfast was lame, but for 45$, I didn't care. Banana, apple and yogurt was good enough, and starbucks was across the road.

My family and I travel a lot and this is by far the best stay for us. The rooms are clean and fresh. The showers are wonderful and most of all, the beds are comfortable. The price is so affordable and the staff is so nice and inviting. I highly recommend this hotel!

I have stayed at the Baymont in Erie many times before. When I showed up this time, they had moved to another facility. Not a new facility. A very Old building with the name Baymont draped over it. The rooms had not been vacuumed, ventilation is bad, just a bad experience. Would not stay there again. The cable was not existent, only had digital regular tv. I used to enjoy staying at The original Baymont. A big step backwards.
