Overall I was pleased with this hotel - the room was very large , I had cancelled an alternative booking at a different local hotel due to staying and the room being tiny - unbearable - this was 3 times the size admittedly the bathroom was small but it did the job - lovely location a minutes walk to the beach - parking good - would definetly stay here again .Iv tried a lot of hotels in Bournemouth

Where shall I start..we booked one night here,on arrival a couple were complaining About their room.cancelled and walked out..not to be put off we booked,only to be told the number of our room was the one the people in front had cancelled(we heard the room number),,we refused,and they gave us another.our room was dated,but clean.,,VERY very small shower that my 6 foot partner had to reverse into,,went to make a cuppa...THE KETTLE DID NOT WORK.....decided to go for a swim.and was told we have to pay£4each..this was getting worse...we got into bed on the night ,to find our duvet inside was TORN down the middle.we made the best of it,and left the next morning. NEVER TO RETURN. PS it’s £3 to park your car on the front of the hotel...and we did get a new kettle after I had complained.

Was very cheap £28 wouldn't want to pay more .. reception staff quite uninterested .. reasonable room, bit tired Hotel is helped by being in a great location .. if a Travelodge is the same price or cheaper you would be better served there

Booked for 2 nights for a weekend away, the location was about as good as it got, we were checked in and went to our room, it was a tiny box room and had not been cleaned! There was thick layers of dust on every surface and sockets, especially in the bathroom. There was thick black hair everywhere, in the shower and all over the floor, the rail was rusty (a hazard) and the shower was so poky and small you could barely wash in it without smashing your elbows on the sides, the room itself hasn't been hoovered in god knows how long! 1900s furniture and a potent smell of damp dog/feet, the rooms were so damp the bedding felt wet and there was mould everywhere on the windows, the ceilings were cracked and every time someone above walked it sounded like they were going to cave in, could hear next doors conversations clear as day. The wifi was none existent - did not work at all, don't waste your time. You're provided with a kettle, tea and coffee; the kettle smelled stale and the coffee was out of date so much so it just tasted like brown water. The pool was crap and the sauna was a box with a heater in, not only that but the cheeky sods charge you 4.50 to use said pool even if you're staying on site ! The hotel itself is like a scene from the shining the only good thing I can honestly say was the security staff at night were lovely ! The staff on reception were as thick as 2 planks and spoke to each other in polish or some other language. All in all it's a dump and should be knocked down and re built from scratch. I don't even think the owners care I'm not even sure they're in the UK anymore it just seems to be being run by nesbits and management are never available.

The worst hotel I have ever had to stay in. Terrible customer service with staff being uninterested in why we couldn't stand to stay an extra night. The rooms were dirty, dusty, had clearly been redecorated in a rush. There was damp in the corner of the room that was still brown and the wallpaper peeling off around. Felt too uncomfortable to even take my shoes off. There were suspicious things in the bathroom and felt dirtier from having a shower. When we tried to express our concerns about staying there the hotel could not speak to us and Booking.com were even less useful. I don't know where Booking.com were getting their reviews from. I wasn't allowed to review after my stay. I would advise trusting the reviews on here more.

After reading reviews before travelling I was feeling rather dubious about what we were going to encounter. We were only staying in Bournemouth for one night and were after a dog friendly hotel that was of a good value and a close walk to the beach. When we arrived there was plenty of parking spaces and we had to pay £3 for 24 hours which I didn't think was too bad as most charge more. We parked on Friday noon with plenty to chose from however when we left Saturday morning the carpark was full with cars parking around the entrance. The lobby did smell of cigarette smoke however the lady on reception was pleasant. The smell didn't improve as we walked to our room however once in our room the smell disappeared. The room was small, however we were only there for one night so we couldn't ask for much more. The room was clean and had the necessities. Ultimately we were after a cheap night away, somewhere we could take our dog for the night and this hotel ticked the boxes. I think you get what you pay for, this is a cheaper hotel and I think it had everything a standard cheap hotel has.

An absolutely appalling hotel..never stayed in such a flea pit and dangarous hotel. Filthy dirty with live wires sticking out of the walls...reception staff speaking in polish to each other instead of answering queries...no management staff on duty...refused to refund my money and I found myself looking for alternative accommodation at 11pm ....be warned !!!!

First impression was how clean the rooms are. Although the decor is dated it’s well maintained. Noisy front half of the building due to revellers spilling out and talking late into the night/morning. You need to call reception to complain if this happens. Breakfast is average small plates and food sitting too long in pans. Parking is a nightmare but we had help from the reception team to make sure we was accommodated. Lifts are the smallest I have ever seen. Two people max. Tea and coffee is limited in the rooms but reception will give more if asked. A bit like Ryanair when it comes to extras. Pool £4, towels £2, parking £3. Come on guys really!!! Can’t fault the staff , they are very helpful and made the trip bearable.

My first night was fine, Alex at reception was very helpful. I paid and enquired about Sat night, it was full and I asked about the sister hotel. They only took computer bookings! I went back Sun and Mon, had noisy chav couple next door. Swim pool costs an extra 4 quid.

I Spoke to a member of staff on the reception desk and she gave me an email address to send my compliant to but ohhhh it doesnt work. so anyone have an email address that works rather than using the contact me form?
