Very runned down. For 350+ a night, it was very over priced.

This is a no frills hotel but it's clean, comfortable and modern. The location is great. I travel frequently for business and this met all of my needs. If you'll be working in your room, request a room with a desk.

Small hotel in a part of an old YWCA in Boston's Back Bay section Friendly staff; Free wireless internet access. No desk in room; no in-room safe. VERY Small Room with no view

It's a slightly odd setup -- the hotel is on the upper floors of the building -- there is other stuff on the lower floors (there is still a lobby where you walk in to the building). The staff was very pleasant, and when I arrived they told me they had upgraded my room -- which brought it up to a M0tel 6 size. My room was on the 7th floor. I had 1 queen size bed. There was no desk. There was a fridge. A wall-mounted TV. Bathroom had a shower stall, but no bathtub (which was fine with me) They don't serve breakfast. There is a room with about 3 tables in it on the 7th floor that has a couple copies of the newspaper and a single serve coffee machine. My room would not have been a good one if I planned to spend the day in it, but it was fine for me, since I was going to be out all day on account of it being a business trip.

Great location and value. Perfect for the single traveler who just needs a clean, no-frills, place to stay.

It was clean and a decent price. Not a lot of amenities, but that is expected. The room was very small, but it was perfect for what we needed.

Overall is good. Please bear in mind that this is a old antique building so you will hear some noise from the next door.

I am originally from Boston and chose this hotel for it's location. The staff is friendly, the rooms are impeccably clean. My only negative is the size of the room.

good hotel. its location is good too. it is clean.

Tried to have a few friends over for a get together yet the room wax so small. The smallest I have ever seen it.

The hotel was fine, but there are better places to stay in Boston. Location is good, but hotel and rooms are outdated.

Very comfortable though the lack of a real lobby was a little different.

Rooms were small - not too many perks - but adequate for a short business trip.

Great location. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. No complaints at all.

Our room was quiet, very clean and fit our purpose. It was small, but we weren't there that much during the day. The bathroom was small, but very clean and the shower was great! The air conditioner didn't work when we first arrived, but once we told maintenance it was fixed soon after. The staff could not have been more helpful. The location is superb - two blocks from Copley Square & metro and a half block from Amtrak and the Commuter Rail Line. AND "Flour" (great restaurant) was across the street!

Nice, clean boutique hotel in fantastic location. I parked my car next door upon arrival and walked or took public transportation until departure 3 days later. Wonderful staff was accommodating and friendly at all times.

Hotel is ok, great location, can't beat the price. Might get loud during night though as they also offer long term rooms.

I stayed here on New Years Eve. It was one of the cheapest hotels I could find in the location I wanted. The room was extremely small, as well as the stand up shower. The room was very clean otherwise. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again if I need a hotel in that area. It is also about a 5 minute walk from the train station.

Very convenient to everything and had everything we needed. Small but comfortable rooms.

Very clean room, no bath, but perfectly adequate shower, small and quiet except for flushing toilets. Location was convenient for Copley Station to the museum and Symphone. Helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely stay at 140 again.
