Shuttles to city and airport were very useful as well as proximity to train station..

Staff wasn't overly friendly. The rooms were just ok.

There is nothing around this hotel that is of convenience. My husband and I walked a mile and 1/2 to get to the nearest restaurant. Breakfast cost $15.99 which I thought was ridiculous. They don't offer complementary coffee. Plus to top it all off we weren't given our cookie when we checked In! Disappointing stay..

Miguel the shuttle driver was amazing and skilled driver thru horrid rush hour traffic. Also gave me some good tips for getting to Bay State Cruises the next day. The basic food and beverage service was convenient. The check in was quick and pleasant, the bathroom with tub much appreciated after a very long day. The bed was comfortable. The pillow were not suited for a KING size bed! There were four which were more appropriate for a twin. BUY some king pillows The wall seem thin and its very easy to hear people slamming their doors -- I'd recommend requesting an end room if traveling alone or bothered by noise The instructions provided by the morning staff on how to get to the harbor walk path to go the JFK Library were not accurate and confusing--'go out the back door didn't really do it...

This is a good mid-range business hotel in Dorchester, located ~2 blocks from the Red Line and 1/2 mile from UMass/Boston.

I was just nice to arrive one hour before the time for check in and find an smile and warm cookies for the kids and understanding people that let us get Innour room. The opportunity to walk to the boardwalk and enjoy a nice walk was awesome. Nice, clean Hotel

I've stayed here a few times over the past few years. When doing business at UMass, the location can't be beat (I would not recommend it for tourists visiting Boston). However, recently things have been getting worse. They haven't replaced their beds in a ling while (so they squeak and sag in the middle), many of the air conditioning units don't heat (or cool) well any more, on several occasions the toilet wouldn't flush etc. On my last visit all the doors were locked when I arrived at 10:30pm. There was a sign saying the doors would be locked at 11 and that after that you'd need to use the bell. At a major Doubletree? Pretty crazy. It took several rings of the bell until somebody somewhere finally pushed a button and let me in. Check in was very mechanical (No Good evening or Welcome - these may be unimportant little things, but you sure notice when they go missing, don't you?) So in summary, this is still a pretty ok place to stay, especially when you need to go to UMass Boston. But it no longer feels like a Doubletree. It's becoming more of a back alley operation that surely isn't worth $200+ a night. Unfortunately there is no real competition in the area and hence I don't think they have a huge incentive to fix things.

Very close to public transportation. Staff was very nice. I would stay again.

Great Hotel! Only stayed one night and I have no complaints. The staff is very helpful and friendly!

Overall, it was good. Locations was good , have friendly staff, great shuttles service. They have no cups in the room for drinking nor coffee machine.

While I prefer to stay closer to the historic parts of Boston, this hotel was very convenient on my last night for getting transportation to the airport. I used their shuttle and found it comfortable and quick. The room itself was lovely and very clean and quiet.

They have a fee for everything. Self park at valet park price. the AC did not heat the room as I wanted. Some other small details that make me not to like this hotel

Their service is quite limited compared to other Hilton hotels. Location is pretty good but people not friendly enought

The staff here was wonderful. Mohammed at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. Every hotel should have one of him! The shuttle service was excellent and the hotel was very close to a train station so we used that often. The food was very good in the cafe. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing I didn't like was the air conditioning system. It was hard to keep a steady temperature in the room.

Staff was great. Waived parking charge when they realized we had a hard time finding the hotel.

Location from t and supermarket -liquor store less than 10 minute walk. Front desk staff wonderful to work with. Housekeeping staff does great job. Room always immaculate. All the better areas to eat in are within 5 miles from hotel. We will never stay at another boston area hotel.

The staff were very nive and accommodating. No complaints. Would stay again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The bed was huge. Good value for the money.

Recently remodelated, very good amenities. Near the JFK Umass Red T line stop.

Lobby very comfortable; room was large and very nice; staff extremely helpful. Shuttle to and from the airport; took the subway (about 1-2 block walk) to and from downtown Boston and the taxi fare for same was around $12.00. Much more economic than staying in downtown Boston.
