Sheraton Boston Hotel

Great staff & location

Super convenient to the Hynes Convention center, the mall, Fenway Park and tons of dining and nightlife. The staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived at the same time as a convention and the check in line was long - like almost an hour long - so we left our bags and went and set up our booth - came back and there was only a 3-5 minute wait. The room was on the small side for most locations, but good sized for a big city. The new marketplace/snack bar was nice and had only been open for a couple of days. They were working things out, but eager to get things right. I asked for hot tea with honey and lemon and they had to search for it. But they happily found some and went out of their way to get me lemon too! My only complaints were that when sessions for the meetings let out there was a 10-15 minute wait for the elevators! And during peak times, it often seemed like only one or two of the six were working. And that I did not seem to have much control of the temperature in my room. I set the thermostat down to 63 and the heat was still on too hot. Hot enough that I was sweating at night. Finally I turned off the fan completely and that helped a tiny bit, but it seemed like the room thermostat was just for show, not something that actually made a difference.

Hilton Boston Downtown/Faneuil Hall

Nice hotel but NO WIFI and parking is a joke!

We arrived early in the morning and were greeted by a rude valet and hovering bell man. Our room was nice and clean, and the hotel is in a great location. But we went to use the wifi and found out you have to PAY for it... Who in the heck makes you PAY for wifi in 2017!? Even Super 8 has free wifi... So ridiculous. It takes a ridiculously long amount of time to get your car from Valet. One time took us 45 minutes of waiting in the lobby!
