The front desk staff was very welcoming helped us navigate the area and had great recommendations. Area is walkable to restaurants, bars and entertainment.

Very clean. We booked last minute from airport delays. The staff desk person was wonderful. A great employee. I’d stay again.

Friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff. This property has all the basics that you could need away from home in a prime location to explore the area

Cute place, just what we needed, close to the T and Boston Common. Wish there was something in the room or at check in that summarized where the lounge area was, etc. It was not obvious from the entrance and we learned about it on the way out.

The acoustics are terrible. I asked for the top floor hoping to get away from noise. You can see light from the hallway around the door so there is nothing to block noise. A screaming kid in a room a couple doors away woke me up at 4:30. They could also offer a little something for breakfast. But the room fit my needs- little twin bed, ok tv, and a cute little private bathroom.

The staff were so kind, helpful and personable. Front Desk staff is great, they show real hospitality and make Boston feel like a small town. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. This is a great budget option, and so worth it for the location.

Hotel looked so bare bones... like a dorm room!

Pro: Fantastic location. More affordable than other rooms in this area. Con: Thin walls. I wish I’d brought earplugs.

We stayed here knowing the rooms were small and it was a "basic" hotel, since all we did was really sleep/shower there. Room was clean and decorated nicely, comfortable beds and pillows, friendly staff. VERY minor amenities, so be prepared with water for your room, etc. My main complaint was the nightclub next to our window. Friday and Saturday nights were SO LOUD at 2am with club music when they let out. I'd request a room in the front of the hotel if staying over a weekend if possible - although it's so small I'm not sure it would make a difference. Earplugs worked well. Overall for the price we'd stay here again. Close to Boston Commons and about a 20 minute walk to the North End.

Very conveniently located to Tufts Medical, Boston Common and Newbury street area. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and informative. Went out of their way to throughly check in with each guest for any info they might need according to their stay. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. My only tip is if you require hair conditioner make sure to bring your own. They supply everything else but that. Great bathrooms too btw. Would definitely stay again.

Simple, no frills hotel. Great for a 1-2 night stay. Small room but clean and functional. Staff was friendly. 5 minute walk to the subway station.

location

It is in the student area for Boston College. Old building. Small room. However, everything I needed. Perfect.

The staff was very unfriendly and helpfull

Pros: clean, affordable, great downtown location. Cons: poor communication re. parking (you can use the ramp across the street for $42/night, but only if you get your ticket validated at the front desk, otherwise it's $64/night! The Found Hotel's website, however, says they provide no parking or discounts.) There is no folder or handbill provided at check-in or in your room to tell you this, or anything else about hotel amenities. Also, on my first night, hotel staff (I think) had loud conversations past 11 pm, which was annoying since my room was right behind the front desk, and with all the attractive but acoustically-live woodwork, plaster, and tile everywhere, they may as well have been in my lap. More pros: my second night was quiet, and overall I liked my tiny but cozy room.

Everything was fine the only thing is that there was no small refrigerator in the room.

The price could not be beat. Services are minimal but given what you pay, it's not surprising. Perfectly adequate.

We definitely apologize for the noise, Janice! Being an older property the acoustics are surely not as modern as we wish and it is always hard to control the noise of a screaming child. We hope you will consider the FOUND again for a much quieter stay in the future!

Thank you for your great review and feedback, Alan! Next time you stay with us be sure to ask the guide stand in the lobby for earplugs. Sometimes the neighborhood can get loud and we apologize for that.
