This hotel looks pretty average from the outside but inside the rooms are clean, comfortable and have wonderfully large and modern bathrooms. Enjoyed our stay and had a great nights sleep and a nice hot shower - what else do you need?

Due to a breakdown on our motor cycle tour of France and Spain we ended up staying at this hotel for 4 nights while waiting for repair. The hotel is fairly small on the outskirts of Bordeaux, just 10 minutes from the airport and in easy reach of Bordeaux via a short bus and tram ride. The room was clean and well presented with everything we needed. The staff and management were very welcoming and friendly and could not have been more helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was a disaster stay. The room was filthy. The bathroom even more. There was excrement smeared on the bathroom wall. The towels had black stains on them. There was an AC but no way to turn it on. The window was broken so we had mosquitos bite us. One of us is allergic to mosquito bites and has swellings on his arms the size of golf balls. The shower head was so caked in limescale that it gushed water in all directions but on me. All in all this was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. The price is no excuse for the dirty room. I've stayed in cheaper hotels (ibis styles) thst were cleaner.

Pros: Actually, it was a motel but VERY good one. This motel was above head and shoulders of any *** stars hotel I ever stayed. The breakfast was also very decent. And staff spoke English very well. Cons: It was a little noisy because my room was next to stars.

Stop over point on route to Spain after a long drive from London. We arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful. However when we got to the room we discovered that despite having an air con unit in the room there was no remote/controls to operate it. Now normally this wouldn't be a problem but when the temperature outside was over 30 degrees at 9pm, and there were no real windows to open, it was a problem. We enquired at reception to be told that due to renovation work taking place the next week they had removed the remotes and we couldn't have one. I could not believe this, why have rooms without air con in such heat. As you can imagine the heat meant it was an awful night, very uncomfortable and too hot. I would never stay again based on the poor experience as I could never trust this hotel to have everything working when selling rooms.

I'm not sure but I think this was formerly a Campanile hotel, it's OK but a bit rundown. I stayed for two nights and there was no bed making, no fresh towels in fact nothing at all. Even their restaurant was closed both evenings. When I complained they said sorry. No refund, no recompense at all.

I booked this hotel online in the morning and when we arrived was given a room with two twin beds even though I had booked a room with a double bed. We were told they were full. The room is small and noisy. We were offered one free breakfast for our trouble- there are two of us... I would not recommend this hotel. I will say that the room is clean and the twin bed is comfortable.

Small rooms but clean. Great service in the restaurant with a nice selection of food. Practical place to stay for one night.

Very accessible to the airport and easy to find just off the main drag. Rate somewhat expensive in comparison to some others. After staying at Campanile Hotels for many years, I feel they are seriously declining. No more trays with cups, saucers and spoons, instead plastic disposable ones. No more little extras in the bathroom either. Our room overlooked the Hertz rent-a-van yard but thankfully as it was a Saturday night, there was no movement there otherwise it could have been very noisy. The air circulator in the room kept me awake most of the night, gurgling away like a running tap, there was no switch to turn it off. The light switch for the bathroom is situated over the toilet and in the middle of the night it's hard to remember which one it is and I turned on the heater by mistake and once again, you can't turn it off once you've hit the on switch. Restaurant so so but the sweet course choice left a bit to be desired.
