The ultimate in "bed for a night before a flight with *no* frills". We had to wait a few minutes for a receptionist to arrive and then the corridor lights towards our rooms was out. Turned out they're set on a short timer - you need to look for a small orange light above waist level to find the light switches. Same goes for lights on the stairs - not too handy when the lights go out halfway up the flight... The room was compact, basic, spartan and in need of maintenance - but it was clean. The bed was ok but the pillows were small - almost as if the hotel had specially bought mini-pillows. The bathroom needed a little repair and sprucing up and the towels were almost paper-thin and small (one was torn as well). Not impressed and I'll ask our company travel agents to take the hotel off any recommended list.
Stay there for one night before taking my plane back home. The room was clean. The bed made a lots of noise when you move. The bed sheet had some stain on it and in the bathroom you can only find 1 medium towel and 2 small towel for 2 people not to mention that the towel have been used a lot. For the same price I prefer to sleep in Ibis budget ( i have been there many time)I know what I get for the one night and that's a better bed to sleep on.
We were staying next door (unfortunately as not too good), but we had the pleasure of having dinner here on the terrace. We choose the 18€ menu (starter/main & dessert) and were really pleasantly surprised by the quality and (almost all) fresh ingredients that were provided. The waiter even went out of his way to get us pasta as we had asked for. And the dessert buffet was very good, and plentiful. The waiter was very kind & helpful and service was perfect. So we would really recommend to others and come here again if we were in Bordeaux airport.
Chose this as close to the Airport. Call the hotel for pickup €10 taxi for 2 mins. Rooms basic but functional and clean. Best bit of this trip were the staff, all very pleasant and went out their way to help and recommend.
Ended up with an unplanned stopover at Bordeaux awaitng a flight the following day . This was the first nearby hotel next to the airport and it had rooms available. I was in a single room with shower and w.c. , but please be aware , the walls are not soundproofed so you don't feel alone.!The room was basic, the food was basic but it sufficed at a modest price. It was clean and the staff were typically French - polite and efficient.
Older style small rooms. Not real clean but I have seen worse. Reception not real friendly if you cant speak French. Price was appropriate for the condition of the hotel. Located near the airport but no food outlets nearby.
It was my first trip since I became an Amputee. I was a little worried about the handicap access, but it worked out fine. I was.over for the barrel tasting of 2015, the people at the Hotel could not be nicer. My 4th time at the Hotel and the rates are great, the convenience is terrific. Lots of nice people stay there, very convenient to everything. The young Wine Merchants with me, all agreed that we were so busy for the value it could not be beat.
Was booked in by work for cost reasons, £50 a night including breakfast. The highlight was cold air on, our previous hotels were poor in that respect. Room a bit dreary, relatively quiet for aircraft. Used the bar for a few beers, but went out in Bordeaux for food. Breakfast was adequate. I would probably look elsewhere if I was paying.
We were placed in this facility by Easy Jet after cancellation of a late flight from Bordeaux to Gatwick. The staff tried to be helpful but were overwhelmed by the arrival of 30 guests at 11:45 p.m. There was no food available, but some of us went into the restaurant when the staff was distracted to get some fruit. The hotel is lacking in most amenities. We were on a second floor and had to carry our luggage up 28 steps. (My wife counted them.) The room was tiny and it was impossible to adjust the A/C without getting out of bed. The double bed was not much larger than a twin bed and sagged in the middle. The towels were about the size of two handkerchiefs and of similar thickness. The plumbing was primitive though hot water was abundant. The hair dryer was the most anemic we have seen in some time, and this compounded the inability to dry hair with the tiny towels. Breakfast, included in whatever was paid by the airline, was only coffee or tea out of a machine, bottled juice, some fruit and compote, rolls and sweet rolls. There was some ham under a dome, but it did not look appetizing. There were no tongs with which to get the food, and the unsupervised children were pawing through the food throughout our brief time in the dining room. I tried to call the desk to find out about some extra towels, and the phone did not work. The WiFi could not be connected to. When we asked about an airport shuttle, we were told they would call a cab for 10 Euros, or we could walk to the nearby bus stop, in the rain, and take a bus for 3 euros for two.We elected the latter and found the bus stop bench could not be used because the roof leaked. Fortunately, we were able to come up with exact change for the bus. This was better than the time one winter when the bus I was on got stuck in a ditch and the only place to sleep in the small town where we were transported was the jail, with cell doors open one might add. But, that is the best I can say about this place.
Rooms have been done out since i stayed here , Wood flooring oak floors . and bathrooms, dinner was good just had the buffet , breakfast was ok.. and the bar open all night , kept me happy as usual...
