The room had broken tile on the floor that was coming up, rubber strips connecting the carpet / tile that came up every time you walked on them and the overflow cover for the tub came off if you bumped it. The worst was the when our door broke. We went to management, and they gave new keys multiple times then tried the master key and couldn’t get into the room. They told us maintenance didn’t work at night so we would have to wait til the next day to get into our room. Then she remembered it was a holiday and said she wasn’t sure if maintenance would be working that day and that it might be a couple of days to get in our room and get our belongings. We had to leave to go home for work and could not wait two days for our things, and in addition I had medicine I needed to access. They offered no solution so we called the police. They had to come and break into the room, finally getting us in at 12:30 am after we missed the entire New Year’s evening. If someone is dependent on prescription medication for life-threatening conditions, it could have ended badly not giving access. I am thankful the police intervened but unbelievable it had to come to that.

Property is old and worn. A few ants in the room. Floors in lobby always seemed to have something spilled on them. Bathroom was pretty clean
The outside of the property was nasty. Trash cans over run. Cigarette butts all over. Landscaping was not maintained. The 1st night there we were on the road side the traffic noise was awful. We moved to the other side, a car with no muffler backed up to our window and they cranked their car many times in the night. After the 3rd night we moved to another hotel. Slept like a baby. I went to the desk several times in the night no one was able to be found

I will not stay st this property again until the get new beds and train front desk staff to speak and talk like they respect their job!! Front desk staff was nice but was dressed in school street clothes and was not wearing a mask as mandated in boone.
During Covid, I appreciate the paperless checkin... I just gave my last name and they handed me a room key.

Incredibly gross! My family rented multiple rooms and each room was gross. One set of pillows were stuck together with a crusty tissue nearby. I can only imagine that semen was the sticky substance between pillows. Another room had pubic hair in the bed, so sheets weren’t changed in two separate rooms. My bathroom had hair in the corners of the floor. My parents bathroom had 2 of 3 of their bath towels with chemical burns on them so they were completely bald in patches. The elevator’s phone was broken and kept beeping all night and I could hear it from my room.

The only issue was that our reservation came in as 2 different nights so i had to check in the out the next day the check back in. They tried to make us move rooms since the next day was a new check in.

The beds were not comfortable. The air in our room made a loud noise and you could hear the traffic going by with no sound proof to the windows. You could also hear the people above us walking back and forth. The room itself was nice and spacious though.
