Comfort Suites Boone

Recent guest reviews

Room clean and comfortable. They were undergoing some remodeling which made entrance to main lobby and swimming area a little out of the way but if they are going to keep it nice they have to do some work every once in a while. The construction workers were nice and tried to stay out of your way, apologizing for the rare times you might cross paths with them. I am a country girl and the highway noise was more than I am use to, but most people are use to that. If I were going to that area again I would choose Comfort Suites. Great staff and room. Excellent breakfast!!!!!!

Nice location in the city. Staff was really nice. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

All of the staff were so nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Boone .

Comforters were dirty and dirt was obviously hidden under the red foot covers. The bathroom smelled like urine from the moment we arrived even though it appeared clean. The person in the room next to us was smoking in the room and it permeated through the adjoining door. Other than housekeeping issues, it was a nice hotel. Breakfast was good-great selection.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quite comfortable.

We decided on Wednesday morning to come to Boone that day to go skiing and when I called the Appalachain Ski Mountain and asked them for a suggestion of where to stay with two kids, they suggested Comfort Suites for the good breakfast and indoor pool. The facility is very clean, rooms are big and comfortable and the staff is professional and friendly. Easy way to do a last minute ski trip!

This hotel is Amazing! There is a two story lobby with a stone fireplace that the pictures, just don't do justice. The breakfast was the best free breakfast I have ever had. Waffle makers, eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, Cereal, pancakes, lots of juices, milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, and I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting. The rooms are huge. 2 Queens and a pull out Sofa bed. Easily sleeps 6 with plenty of room. There was a view of the mountains from the rooms on the south side of the building. We were minutes from Blowing Rock, Sugar Mountain, and Seven Devils and just a little farther to Beech Mountain. And last but not least, the price could not be beat! I'm telling you, my family will definitely go back. We had a great time.

This was a good and relatively convenient one nighter place to stay when I was in town doing a training. I recommend it and will stay here again if I need to come back to Boone.

Average stay with nothing to complain about. Room was clean, bathroom was small, no marble or granite here, if you want that stay elsewhere. Sheets were nice and bed was fabulous. Had a great night sleep. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Good, clean hotel, very quiet. Couple of small issues like the internet connection very unstable, fridge in the room working very loud, but overall nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel & room were very nice. We had 6 adults in one room with 2 beds & a sleeper sofa & it was perfect for all of us. We plan to stay there again on our next trip to North Carolina.

Hotel was unable to handle large volume of business. Apparently the night before (Friday) they were booked and it took until 6 p.m. for us the check in (normal ck in should be 3 pm). When asked if we could be compensated in some way for the inconvenience, I was told I needed to contact the manager who would not be in until Monday(have yet to contact them). I doubt we will stay there again.

I always stay here when I visit Boone. Compared to some of the other hotels in town, this one has a great location. Highway 105 can be a bit tricky when you want to make a left turn.

I just needed a comfortable place to stay for a night before moving into my new apartment. Comfort Suites is a beautiful hotel, and every member of the staff is fantastically helpful and nice. I have stayed at this same hotel several times before, and I have always had a quality experience.

We visit Boone often, but this was our first time staying at Comfort Suites. We had seen pictures on the website, but they didn't come close to what was actually there!! A comfortable bed, hot breakfast, and two-story lobby with a huge fireplace is just the beginning! We had everything we needed and more! Since it was Thanksgiving, Christmas decos were up already and that just added to the magic of it - add in a little snow from heaven - sit with a cup of coffee in front of that rock fireplace...perfect!!!

We stayed here overnight after the APP football game. Very convenient to the stadium. Lots of App fans were here but it was very quite. The only problem was traffic was heavy on the highway and we had a difficult time getting out of the parking lot.

We went to Tweetsie Railroad, Blowing Rock and Grandfather. All of these were a lot of fun for our family! Very nice are, good restaurants and plenty of shops. Beautiful place! We always Stay at the same Comfort Inn as it is beautiful with excellent service and a great decor and breakfast!

My husband ran the grandfather mountain marathon and the kids and I met up with him afterwards. We went to grandfather mountain the day of the marathon and stayed for the night. We rented the suite so our son could sleep on the sofa bed and our daughter would have her own bed,but when my husband tried to set up the sofa bed we discovered it was broken. The following morning we went down for free breakfast between 8:30am and 8:45am and discovered that there was scrambled eggs, ham bits(tiny pcs of overly salted ham),mini donuts,3 types of cereal(raisin brand, cheerios, sugar flakes),plain cold bagels, orange and apple juice, coffee, waffles and oatmeal(plain and apple cinnamin). My husband and son liked the make your own belgium waffles though.I really missed the yogurt and fresh fruit that is usually offered as a continental breakfast! =-( We then proceeded to our room gathered our belongings and checked out at which time I did mention the broken sofabed and the young lady at the front desk offered a $25.00 reduction on the rental fee, which was very nice but then it took her another 20 mins or more to try to figure out how to deduct this from bill.I hope she will get the bill correct or I will have to call to fix the problem...major inconvenience.

We enjoyed playing air hockey in the game room. For dinner, we just walked a few steps outside the door to Troy's diner. For a moderate priced chain hotel, Comfort Suites ranks high on our list.

Comfort Suites was very comfortable and welcoming. Check in was extremely easy and took me less than a minute. Our room was quite large and comfortable. Everything was clean and inviting. When we needed desk assistance with a key, the staff was very helpful and double checked to see if everything was ok. The location was central to the activities we had planned. We will definitely stay there again.
