Not very welcoming Reception staff. Extra charge of 40 € required for check-in before 3pm. Very bad sleep due to collapsed & worn out mattresses and pillows. Exclusively salty breakfast with very few sweet breads & buns (only croissants). Jacuzzi not available for customers due to maintenance operations. Expensive car park fee of 10 € per night.
Very large room, very well equipped! Same level as many luxury hotel in terms of facilities and standards. Much lower prices and descent service. For those used to luxury hotel, the number of staff is clearly not the same, but if you are looking to feel like a special guest somewhere, can only recommend this hotel as a base to visit the area.
It is a superb hotel, with big and very nice room! The bathroom is big, with shower and a big bathtub! The restaurant is absolutely delicious! Lot of speciality, and the personal friendly. All other facility which you can find here will be absolutely more than you expected.
Room was great, largest i have seen in year. Very clean and well organised. Gym is small and was too worm for me. It is close to the train station and parking is available. Breakfast was good and lot of different staff to choose, a very good stay
We have stayed in the region many times before and I always tried to get out of my trips due to the "questionable" hotels. This is hands down the nicest hotel in the area. Clean, modern, well appointed. Nice staff and great location. Highly recommend!!!
This is a very modern hotel located opposite the train station. Located close to many good restaurants with secure parking underground. Rooms are clean and spacious and have everything you would expect. Nice size desk for working. Breakfast buffet offers plenty of choice.
Beautiful and spacious room, elegant and stylish. Looks brand new, everything squeaky and in perfect working order. Beds are nice and firm with a choice of pillows and a luxurious duvet. Minibar, cable tv and electrically operated curtains . Bathroom was perfect with all the trimmings and well-sized bath (all marble and copper). Loved the seperate glass doors for loo and shower. Again: clean. The view from the room isn't great: either the bleak city of Euskirchen or the railway station. There is absolutely no noticeable noise from the street. Only small point of critique: rooms are quite warm and you need open windows to cool the place down. The breakfast was perfect, with cooks that can do you an ommelet and everything else you need to start your day as a champion. Staff are corteous and efficient, but not very warm or openly friendly (as in "the American way"); you can get a smile though, if you try. Parking in the Tiefgarage is safe and convenient and worth the 10 euro's per 24 hours. We left the car there for our daytrip to Cologne (35 minutes; 5,25 round trip).
Would be nice if the respond to booking.com requests. The check in went smooth. Parked car in front of hotel until we put all bags into room. Could park car at public parking places on 200m. The room was well equipped. The fancy electronics to close the curtons did not work. The carpet had a lot , a lot, of stains. The breakfast was chaotic. Too few places. Too few waiters. I felt sorry for those who ran to try to cover up.
Strategic location. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is excellent and particularly rich. The menu at restaurant is rather poor but quality of the dishes are very valuable. I really appreciated my stay.
our room was very clean and quiet - good bed and large shower - we always use this hotel as a start for a trip to the Keulen christmas-market - very easy access with the train-station in front of the hotel
