Here over Christmas on a Titan Travel tour. The room was good except that there was no information folder (unusual). Apart from that, we found that the hotel was minimalist and totally soulless, especially at Christmas time. The three dinners that were included in the stay were poor and, until the tour manager complained on our behalf on the last day, not hot. The selection at breakfast was good but, again, items that should have been hot were not. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. We were not told until the last day that tea/coffee and cakes were available during the afternoons. The hotel is located opposite the central rail station in a not very salubrious area and is about 1.5 km from the centre of the city.
This is a lovely clean and modern hotel right across the street from the train station. The staff were very helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed the patio late in the evening. Good location to go walk about.
We booked a suite. From the floor plans on the back of the door, all of the suites face the main street which is fairly busy. However, if you don't open the ventilation panels [they are like windows without glass], the soundproofing is excellent. We did have a problem with mosquitoes although we were on the 5th floor because we did open the ventilation panels. The front desk staff are multilingual and quite helpful. Our room was spacious and the furniture was extremely comfortable. We slept well. There is a breakfast room with a typical Italian hotel selection. There is also a bar. I had no problems with the internet. The housekeeping service was very good. The hotel is located very conveniently to the main train station which was one of the reasons I selected it. There are lots of places to eat within a 15 to 20 minute walk. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
Stayed there since since its across the train station, and walking distance to the heart of town. The receptionist are friendly, helpful and speaks good English. The room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable , the lighting was a bit confusing and the decor was bright and bold, problems with the shower and water temperature, need to be careful it goes hot and cold, wifi was fast. The breakfast room was roomy with the outside terrace view, great choices from dairy, meet and baked goods. Highly recommended if you're in Bologna.
Modern clean hotel. Friendly desk staff. Decent breakfast. Lots of storage space. Only complaint is the shower. For some reason, a lot of hotel in Europe insist on using a fairly small pane of glass vice a curtain or door. This results in a lot of water on the floor no matter how careful you are taking a shower. Rooms could also use a bit more Air conditioning.
We stayed here for three nights recently. Very convenient location - just across the road from the Central train station, from where most of the rest of Italy can be accessed by high speed train. A regular bus service from the station forecourt takes you to and from the airport in under half an hour. The hotel is a pleasant fifteen minute walk to the centre of Bologna. Hotel is very modern, comfortable, spotlessly clean and the staff, as with all other UNA hotels were have sampled, are really lovely and efficient. Usual continental fare for breakfast in pleasant room overlooking and outdoor eating area, which can be easily accessed if you want some fresh air with your coffee. Really nice hotel, highly recommended.
No real problems at all . It's not luxury but then again it's not at a luxurious price. The receptionists were helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast wasn't amazing but it was easily acceptable. Wi fi was very good- no problems logging on at all. Shower was a bit iffy - there were temperature changes whilst you were in there but not to an extent it was boiling and freezing just enough to be annoying. To be honest the decor was a bit in your face and the music in lobby was a bit jarring and not very soothing but bottom line it was for a few nights mostly to sleep. It is very close to the train station which was ideal for us but that did mean a walk into the town centre. Basically you have one or the other - you have to make your own decision on what's important to you. All in all no real complaints. It was perfectly adequate and fit the bill of what we needed.
The hotel is very quiet despite the proximity to the station - the only downside is that you need to be prepared for a 25 minute walk or a bus or cab ride to get into the centre of the city. If you are looking for a traditional - style Italian hotel, this probably isn't for you but if you are looking for smart design, a comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom, excellent breakfast and really helpful staff, this shouldn't disappoint.
Its a great location next to the train station and a pleasing short walk to the City Centre. We had a junior suite which , like the rest of the hotel , is in vibrant colours . Very modern and not a lounge/restaurant kind of hotel ( although it has both ). Pleasant team who spoke great english and all in all a really good stay. Top tip for you english tea drinkers...if you ask for milk to take to your room then try paying 6 euros for a small jug.!! The receptionist agreed it was outrageous then charged me for it anyway.
Stayed here for two nights. Very close to the station but no train or road noise. Also a €6 ride from the the centre of town or a 20 minute walk. Good size rooms and fitted to a high standard. Breakfast is good and wide range of choices. Would certainly stop there again
