A mid range hotel which I tried after a very good experience at the Naples sister hotel. It is more expensive than other mid range hotels but can be hit and miss in terms of quality. Decor is different to other chains and makes the experience different. Located directly across from the Railway Station (which is also an airport bus stop off), it is a 20 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore past historical sights and the main shopping drag. Breakfast if included in your rate is worthwhile.

Stayed 1 night as we had a train to catch early in the morning and the location across from the station is perfect for that. Very basic and rather quirky bedrooms but decent breakfast. Would stay again in the same circumstances but 1 night is my limit.

We selected this hotel for its proximity to the Railway Station with some apprehension about its quality though this was quickly dispelled. The room and hotel facilities were very comfortable and staff very attentive and helpful. Best was the breakfast buffet which was included in the price. Also impressive was the pre meal bar and aperitifs on offer together with the associated barman's attention. We would stay here again.

After what what felt like two days of traveling, a peaceful rest was so welcome. Room was very quiet & extremely large. Very hip! Felt like I was in the 60's or an Austin Powers movie. The bed was really comfortable. It was an easy walk from the train station. I took the bus from the airport to the train station 6 euros. Highly recommend for the price & location. Breakfast was typical Italian. Fresh & very good, too.

After a long trip from LA to Venice then a train ride to Bologna, it's so nice to have a hotel right across from the central train station. It's so conveniently located to eating and shopping places. The hotel is clean and modern. The only draw back is the variety of breakfast items. Granted, the free breakfast is nice but the hotel should change things up a bit.

Booked the suite for a 5 nite stay to celebrate my partners 50th birthday, ,room was ok ,big bed ,,big room,,and good WiFi, ,very close to rail station so great for travelling to different locations, ,having booked the suite part of the deal was a free mini bar,,im sorry but 2 beers and some bottle's off water and soft drinks is not what i would call a mini bar,,also had a issue with lights not working in the room and bathroom, ,mantenance man came to try to fix the issue but still not fixed as we were leaving, ,,also having stayed in lots of other hotel on special occasions, , birthday's, anniversaries, this is the first hotel not to mark the event . come on UN A a 50th birthday, ,,very poor customer services, ,,

The title says it all. The room is vary spacious for European (even North American) standards. The shower is amazing and the toilet area is separated by a door from the powder room / robinettery The bed was king-size, an oddity in Europe The closet was a walk-in.... no kidding. The breakfast was a nice buffet, containing cold cuts, pattiserries, fruits, yogourts and cakes. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. There is a nice outside terrasse next to the dining area. Location is unbeatable... across the street from the train station.

After reading previous reviews of this fine property, I'm wondering if we stayed at the same place? Room, staff, food and location were perfect...thus my title..."what's not to like? Our room was modern and comfortable with the kind of strong water pressure in the shower we sure don't have back home in Vegas. The staff was polite & even pretended my Engtalian was understandable! The included breakfast was efficient & as a reviewer said, offered hard boiled and/or scrambled eggs. And lastly, if you enjoy a brisk walk, the property is just right for visiting the historic sights, just down the block.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was included with our room and I would suggest that you take it if offered. Good selection of pasties, cereals, fruits, cold cuts, two types of eggs, hard boiled and scrambled. You can get espresso for the staff at breakfast and that comes with your meal. Rooms are very comfortable, quite spacious, the bathroom is large. The only issue is the decor but if you can live inside a programers nightmare the hotel offers good value. The location is fantastic it you are coming into town by train. Right across the street and you can walk to all the attraction from it. There are some restaurants in the area of you can walk 15 minutes minutes to find one not so touristy. They have a restaurant in the hotel and a bar for a quick drink. Nice outside area if you just want. To read a book while waiting for your train. Overall excellent hotel for the cost.

The staff were nice, the AC and WiFi worked well with only having to logon one time, but with different access codes for three devices. Of course, the hotel is right across the street from the Bologna Centrale train station. From these perspectives, my wife and I were pleased, especially with the breakfast room staff who were the best. We picked this UNA because we had stayed at UNA in Rome 3-4 years ago and again a week or so ago, decent ratings on TA for this hotel in Bologna, and for its proximity to the train station. Sadly, this UNA does not compare to the UNA in Rome. The issues vary. When we checked in, I asked for change for a 5 Euro note; no Euro coins were available. There is a well advertised pillow menu, but I was told that there were just a very few goose down pillows in the hotel. The standard pillows are like rocks. They did find another pillow that was smaller and softer, but the point to me was that if they advertise a pillow menu, pillows should be available as they were at the UNA in Rome. There is really no nice seating or waiting area at the front of the hotel. The hotel is functional, but it is not as comfortable as the UNA in Rome. Given a choice, we would probably not stay at this UNA again if we return to Bologna.
