Did not realized booked smoking room since normally it's under special accommodation. We had 5 kids in our party and the hotel staff would not give us new rooms no matter what. Never coming back to this hotel again.

Will never stay here again.bad location .noise not by airport

Any issue that goes along with staying at a hotel was awful. Carpets, TV, bed, water temp., staff, heating and even the toilet (would not flush w/o pouring water in from the ice bucket). Even after an upgrade because the TV wouldn't work, the new room had the above deficiencies.

Rooms were dirty. Doesn't look to be vacuumed I'm a while. Bathroom smelled like urine.

The staff was great and upgraded our room because ours wasn't ready. Our TV didn't work and they had someone come fix it right away. The room wasn't terribly bad

Great night crew. Horrible morning crew. Can hear tenants 2 doors down walking around. Landscapers were up and at it early in the morning literally felt like they were just outside the door with their power tools. Horrible location as well. Cleanliness of room was good.

shuttle met my late night plane after hours because it was close to 11pm cutoff time - very much appreciated by me and staff arranged cab pickup for next morning to meet me in breakfast room

The Boise Howard Johnson is a good value for the price, it's clean and safe.

It was OK for the price , nothing special about it . You get what you pay for.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It's overpriced and quite frankly one step above a roach motel... The carpet filthy, my kids feet were jet black. The rooms smell Iike DOG pee! And the house keeping does a sorry job of cleaning, because we've found beer cans and dirty underwear and bras in what should be a CLEAN ROOM. This was our second stay at the hotel, we only went back this time because I found a pretty good deal online. However when we got there the room they had for us was out of commission because they just cleaned the carpets. So they moved us to a diff room which we informed them right away had a busted air conditioning unit, so we couldn't breathe, they promised us a new room the following day, however that next day came and they wouldn't move us, they said they were booked up and would see about the following day. Finally on our last day there I request to be moved early in the morning ---- the lady tells me theyre all sold out of 2 beds but I don't believe her and check online. Sure enough I could book a new reservation for the same type of room. She out right lied to me. Turns out they didn't wanna give us a new room because we have kids and they don't like cleaning up the trash, so they don't wanna have 2 trashed Rooms. They said we can stay in the room as is or they will refund our money for the night... I demanded to be refunded for 2 nights, they agreed as long as we don't come stay with them again. TRUST we never will. #notworththeheadache

The room was very dingy, You could smell the cleaner they used and it wasn't a very pleasant smell.

The location of the hotel was odd as it is located behind two big stores. Most of the staff was friendly but the front desk people seemed annoyed anytime anything was asked of them. When I arrived I called the front desk for help with the TV ad it was not working. I was asked to hold and after waiting for a few moments they hung up on me and did not return my call. This happened twice.

I only gave a three for staff cause there was a dog barking I called in and they said I have to find where there barking

This was an adequate hotel room, comfortable enough, at a very reasonable price. Certainly not high-end but the bed was good, the plumbing and air conditioner worked, there was a fridge that kept things cold. Relatively quiet considering it was tucked in between the freeway and a Big Box home center. It was good enough for me for what little time I spent in the room.

very good I geause I was not the best hotel I mght stay agian

The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was the location. It was hard to find because it's hidden behind two large retail stores. I had to call the front desk to get directions, even though my Garmin directed me to the address. Other than that, a perfectly clean and comfy hotel at a good price.

It felt like I was beaten up with a baseball bat. The bed felt like the springs were going to come through the thin layer of material that seperated the springs from the sheets. The other problem I had was finding the place since it was behind a lowes & walmart with no directions showing you how to get there.

The check-out was interesting. The counter person was upset that I did not guess that she was in charge. I guess because I did not direct my conversation towards her when I was checking out. My room had bugs in it and the air conditioner did not work that well. But...It was the cheapest in the area!!! So if you don't mind a bit of rudeness or shabbyness, I would recommend.

Hotel didn't know I had prepaid you. Big mess at the front desk. Most of the light bulbs burned out. Television didn't work. [...] Lousy experience with [...] the hotel

My three young boys and I were just passing through Boise. Got a restful nights sleep. Enjoyed the continental breakfast and coffee! Had a quick swim in the pool. Staff was very nice about check out time as my infant had some issues right when we were supposed to be checking out. VERY nice for the price!!
