Great Hotel with very good service and breakfast included. Feels very welcoming being in Colombia. Perfect staf and cosy rooms. Perfect staying for business at a reasonable price. Restaurant is good mainly breakfast.
This hotel is just wow. A welcoming front desk and very clean rooms with very very comfortable beds. The breakfast is exquisite. Had a very comfortable stay to a very good view from the room. The hotel is very reasonable as well.
Good prices, delicious food, nice and gentle people. Nice bed, very clean room. Central location allowing to move easily in Bogota. We had a meeting with 250 people, every thing went perfect. Good coffee service, delicious juices and the food at the restaurant very well served. Dessert were fantastic. There is a bar at the top floor with nice view and music.
The Lobby of this Hotel had a nice clean scent to it. It was a very welcoming scent. The room was decent. The Mattress was hard, but I got used to it by the second day. Breakfast Buffet had many choices to name here, and it is an added value nonetheless. The front desk staff were always very helpful and courteous. The only drawback is this Hotel's location. Not close to any action, i.e. restaurant, shops, or anything!
Chosen by Gate 1 for our Colombia tour. Nice helpful people at the front desk. Nice restaurant for breakfast with cooked to order eggs. But our tour group dinner was quite disappointing(Maybe the fault of Gate 1 and not the hotel though). Be careful with the room description online; many amenities i.e. slippers, and robes, though listed for ‘all the rooms’ are only for club or executive floors. So bring your slippers! Our room was a good size, and modern. Good working bathroom with hairdryer. Beds are really hard though. Calle 73 does not have a lot going on and is pretty dead at night. There are just a handful of restaurants close by. The Zona Rosa or T zone is a long walk or a taxi ride, (taxis are not expensive) There’s also Zona G. Not sure how long a walk that is since we did take a taxi. The hotel can get taxis to go where you need to. If you arrange return pick up with the hotel you may get hit with a surcharge. Not worth the surcharge since any hotel or restaurant can get a cab to take you back to your hotel. Nice hotel if you’re in Bogota for a short visit. But we would recommend finding a hotel where restaurants, and shopping are closer.
This was the first hotel of our first visit to Colombia. Diana Medina at the front desk was extremely helpful. She efficiently resolved a number of significant issues in a most pleasant manner. The hotel is fortunate to have her as an employee. Good buffet breakfast with omelettes to order. Dinner for our tour group of 29 was most disappointing.
We were a group and those of us with rooms facing the street heard a lot of noise from the street. One of the evenings, a party bus with a loud speakers parked in front of the hotel until well after midnight. The people continued to party outside until 2 am. We called the front desk and were told the young people were guests of the hotel and they were not going to do anything about the noise! People in our group with rooms at the back of the hotel also had problems with noise. The rooms themselves were clean and average size. There is no heating or air conditioning but you can ask for a heater or fan. The beds were very firm. The location was convenient to restaurants and a shopping mall.
The room was pleasant and clean. The hotel staff were always pleasant. The location is good. The beds are comfortable. What was nice was the restaurant. Its modern and the breakfast was first rate. A good choice if food, including having omelette made for you. It's nice to have fresh fruit for breakfast. I must agree that the noise from other guests could be a pain at times. Partly, I think because of the hotel structure and not so good soundproofing, but also some loud mouthed guests who would be noisy anywhere.
Great location, very clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious. There are a lot of choices at the breakfast buffet. There is a gym with a Turkish bath. Great local restaurants in Bogota. Uber is very easy and safe to use in the city. The hotel is close to many beautiful sight seeing locations. Very safe area of Bogota.
The hotel was clean; the staff was friendly; the breakfast was ok. The hotel was unacceptably noisy. There is no sound-proofing. I repeat: there is no soundproofing. Our first room, a lovely room, had a connecting door to the room next door. That door might as well have been made of paper. Around midnight, we asked the three girls staying there to reduce their noise level. They did not. We requested a quiet room and were moved to a smaller room in the back of the hotel that would be quiet. It wasn't. We could hear people talking in the corridor (not shouting in the corridor, just talking as though they were in our room). The traffic noise was ever-present. Although the location of the hotel was good, the noise was a deal-breaker for us. We will never return.
