OK, please keep in mind I gave five starts for everything, keeping in mind I am reviewing the HISTORICAL Hotel! Of course this is not a modern building but the place is well kept up, people are REALLY nice there, our family including kids enjoying submerging into a past.

The ambience was awesome. Live music, peace and happiness. It is a 133 year old hotel, so don't expect it to be modern.

great place to stay. lovely old hotel. good eats in the lounge. great breakfast

The historical Green Park Inn is like stepping back in time. I love the history and it's authenticity. The staff was amazing! It was the best customer service I've ever received. However, the property is run down and needs to be renovated. Nothing has been redone since 1977. It needs some love desperately. We loved our trip and stay there. There is not enough staff, but the ones that are there, are top notch! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great old hotel. Robes provided, wonderful made to order breakfast. In times of Covid exceptional

lovely old place. dine there-- nice. close to down town.

Breakfast was free and was off the menu. The hotel still has its original charm. It could be very beautiful. The front porch is wonderful. It needs an overall renovation. It smells very musty. The carpets are old and the wall paper needs replaced. The bathroom tiles are cracked. The dining room is dark and uninviting. The hallways need to be repainted, the stairs in the halls have no railings, and the carpet needs to be tacked down in places as it is a trip hazard. The beds are comfortable and the plumbing works well. The rooms and bathroom were clean, just musty smelling. The staff was friendly and wore masks.

The hotel (think it's been there since 1891) is very historic which is the reason I choose it. The room we were given had a remodeled bathroom, but the toilet area was very cramped. The mattresses need replacement and it was for that reason that we left one day early. I think the 2 Queen room was actually 2 Full beds and we aren't used to sleeping together as both of us have knee replacements and bad backs. With a little more TLC, this could be a great hotel again.

This is a beautiful site with so much potential. Management however needs to get on the ball. Granted due to Covid it’s been hard to obtain extra staff and those poor kids were trying hard! Rooms were minimal and beds uncomfortable. There was suppose to be daily room service - we were not informed there wouldn’t be yet they left a tip envelope in the room … tacky! They also only gave us the toilet paper on the roll…needless to say we were unhappy about that as well! I’d recommend this hotel, just don’t expect anything but the minimal! Oh … on a positive the breakfast was very good!

Our staff was good. The Inn is beautiful,we loved sitting out on the front porch. The room was a nice size and the bed was HUGE.. so comfy. Also, the would have been better with A/C, our stay was in early June so luckily the weather wasn't very hot. The bathroom a bit small, tight around the toilet and sink, and no shelves or stand to put thought toiletries on. The staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was very good as well, several choices on the menu. We were disappointed in the required reservations for dinner since we weren't told we needed to do so to eat in both the restaurant or the tavern in house. Also, the menu in the room was inaccurate from the one in the restaurant, but the food was very good. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Overall a nice place to stay and would do so again.

Charming historic property. Very clean room. Room had a lot of character with the right amount of updates in the bathroom. Rooms don't have microwave and refrigerator; but that goes along with the historic look of the rooms. So thats ok. Very pleasant staff.

Excellent stay at a historic hotel! Its the way hotels used to be... turn down service, actual key, breakfast reservations, etc. It was fun stepping back in time but having the modern conveniences. The room was very spacious and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable with excellent linens. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I will definitely stay here again!

Very old building. Pleasing to some, but slightly inconvenient to others. Not holding that against the hotel. Was told it was 50 dollars if I lost a key and $100 if I lost 2 keys. No mini fridge in the rooms

Beautiful historic property with old world elegance and old southern charm.

We loved the history of this place. It’s a gem! Will be back!
