I know this isn't a top rated hotel but if your toilet isn't working and the front desk solution is to give you a plunger, you are staying at the wrong hotel
This is a 50 buck a night hotel at best. The room had new sheets but definitely wasn't renovated, room was dingy, coffee bar and breakfast were a joke.
Clean, updated rooms and affordable pricing.
Staff was friendly enough. Floor was laminate and had not been mopped. I could see tracks from prior occupant. Luckily I had slippers to wear. Door needed weatherstipping. Gap between door and jam. Sheets dingy and worn.
Not updated as stated.
Very friendly staff. Room was surface clean only. Beds were comfortable.
Needs updating inside and out. Minimal amenities- no coffee maker, room clean but infrastructure very grungy. Dissappointing for Red Roof Inn franchise
It was cheap. but the outside room by the ground level parking lot was old and not maintained well. I took photos not to make it look bad but so they fix it. The front door knob caught and only worked one way, then push hard. A ceiling tile was half falling out in the bathroom. It will fall out soon. I'm not fussy but there was too many staples, screw holes, and dents in the walls, masking tape left from old paint re-touch ups and missing or broken off wood trim on various door frames. They used paint to cover damage or age where it should have things replaced by an average carpenter. The caulk around the tub was brown (used to be clear), and the lower bathroom door trim was broken off. long ago apparently. There was a 3 x 12" cracked drywall area by the tub corner flaking off drywall. That needs the proper tub and water rated materials used, not water soluble drywall. The tub had an odd 6" tall dam area installed on the tub corner to limit water spray over to the drywall patch area. Maybe they have a teenager doing the work who needs training. I saw no threatening problems or insects (in winter) and the sheets were clean. I can handle a lot actually after traveling remote deserts and jungles overseas and living in a South Pacific village with no electricity, services or roads. This was disappointing mainly because the photos looked nice. they just need to do some real maintenance.
The price was reasonable for just needing a decent bed and quiet. It wasn’t fancy, but rooms were recently cosmetically updated and clean, beds were comfortable, and staff was nice.
Dont let the nice photos fool you. The room looks nice and clean and inviting we even went in got comfortable took a shower lay down to watch television get back up to use the restroom turn the light on in the restroom was infested with roaches not cockroaches regular roaches the staff was so rude and mean they were Prejudiced and they only returned half of the money and I was only there for 1 hour I DONT RECOMMEND STAYING HEAR UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE UNWANTED GUEST HOME
Drunken party next door keep me up most of the night. 5:30 AM guy was laying on his horn right outside my door. The AC/heater smelled of smoke. Guessing it hadn’t been turned to heat in a few months and it was a cold night.
The motel is old. There was a laminate floor in my room, but it still smelled a bit musty. That must have been the air conditioner. The sink had repaired cracks in it. The tub/shower had some areas where the porcelain came off. The bed was comfortable. The desk clerk was helpful. He must be the owner because he checked me in at night and was there bright and early the next morning. So it boils down to whether you want top notch accommodations or just an inexpensive place to stay while passing through. The breakfast consisted of cereal, bagels, apples, clementines(?), juice, etc. There were no waffles or any hot solid food (if you don't count toasting the bagels).
the outlet in the bathroom where the hairdryer was plugged in was not working, (lucky my wife had hers with us). the free breakfast was cereal, bread, coffee, juice, and milk.
