seemed to be an older hotel, but the price was right. the carpets were in need of a "a little sweeping"!!!

I came to this hotel to escape a really bad water leak and mold situation at home while repairs were going on. I have really bad mold allergies where it is hard to breathe! Day 1 I discovered mold all over the shower curtain....how in the world do you miss that - yuck. Also the bathroom was sticky and gross I got out of the shower and jumped right back in because it was so disgusting. I had to ask the cleaning staff to mop the bathroom twice and it was still sticky. The cleaning couple that came into the room were really nice. They were from India but clearly had no clue how to turn over a room and used the same rag to wipe the toilet then wiped the sink area - gross, right. Not to mention, over my 4 day stay I had to ask for towels repeatedly. I know the cleaning people came into my room but for some reason they didn't bother to empty the trash (that had banana and orange peels) or pick up piles of used and wet towels. Locations: This hotel is located off a major state highway right next to a school and trying to head back to Bloomington during commuter hours in insane. I had to drive 1 mile away from town take an exit make a u-turn and then 1 mile back on the highway towards Bloomington.

Short stay, but the front desk associate was awesome and room was comfy. Great for the price.

We were looking for a quiet, comfortable place to rest on a budget after a weekend mountain bike festival. This did the trick! Only complaint was that we were seemingly crammed into one small area of the hotel with the few other guests that were there on a Sunday night, including some loud children who ran up and down the hallway well into the evening. Especially bothersome was being stuck in an adjoining room, which allowed for an annoying amount of noise to seep through the door from our neighbors. It seems the small number of guests could have been spread out to make everyone's stay a little more peaceful on such a low-volume night.

The hotel was nicer than I had anticipated. Staff was very friendly as well.

Everything is good, clean and nothing i can complain. Management is great and professional.

I really wanted to go for a walk after sitting in a car all day. The front desk was great for showing me on a map how to get to Cascades park, which was only 5 min away. Awesome paved trails and several hiking trails to waterfalls. The breakfast bar had hard boiled eggs for those who are wanting protein for breakfast. The breakfast area was quickly restocked.

For what I paid for this was by far the best experience I have had. Room was clean, staff was more than courteous (frankly I have paid double and not gotten this kind of service). For some reason my room didn't have an iron board or iron so when I asked for one, staff apologised and I got a new (still in packaging) iron board and iron within minutes! I asked the night manager if I could check out late and without missing a beat I was told absolutely. Motel is without doubt the best value in town.

The staff was very nice and welcoming I will deff stay again it I visit the area absinthe

Room was not cleaned, sheets were not changed. It was cheap, that is about all it had going for it

Asked for a box fan to give us some noise. Wife likes to hear a fan at night. They had one which some places don't so that made it more like home

The lady working the front desk was extremely pleasant and very good at her job, but that was the only good thing. For the price we paid, I expected better. The room was warm and humid when we entered -- the AC cleared the humidity, but not until it got chilly and a nasty odor remained. The staff was obviously aware of the odor since we found two Renuzit air fresheners hidden behind the drapes and the night stand. The bathroom could have been cleaner. One corner of the floor had a lot of gunk build-up. The chrome fixtures were very rusty. There were stains on a bedspread and a towel. The pool water was cloudy and the safety equipment was old and battered. The breakfast room looked clean. The food was OK, nothing special. What bothered us the most was that they had a child vacuuming guest rooms. Next time we'll stay at the Travelodge again -- just as adequate for half the price.

This hotel had very comfortable king size bed. When I woke up I went down to breakfast and was excited to find hot breakfast being serve

It is out of the way for walkers, and one has to walk along the highway, unless you're familiar with the area and know about a nearby foot-bridge that crosses the highway.

My family and I were greeted by a person who was frustrated with the internet being down. She informed us that she couldn't give a room. We show her our confirmation. Talking to her manager she finally placed us in a room. Upon entering the room the bathroom was dirty and the light fixture made a terrible sound when it was turned on. My daughter told the front desk we would like another room. We were told they had nothing else. The front desk personnel became a frustrated with us and started raising her voice at my daughter. My daughter asked to speak to the manager and then at that time the help found us another room.

Stayed overnight a few weeks ago, a little off the beaten path but still close to IU. The room was clean and enjoyed having a balcony and continental breakfast and free WI FI

After surviving an ice storm and finally arriving at the hotel at 2AM, I found the night manager asleep infront of a tv . I had to practically yell to wake him up then went round and around with him because he couldnt find my reservation on either of the computers that was trying to access. He kept telling me he was getting error messages. Then he started pounding the teminal screens with his fists which frightened me to some extend. after numerous attempts and 10-15 minutes, his answer was he couldn't find it, so I was out of luck. He had no options. His willingness to come up with options was limited to his pounding his computer screens. I went back to my car and managed to find confirmation numbers that he was somehow able to locate my reservation with and 15-20 minutes later he was handing me my room key. The room was ok, the breakfast was very good, but the night manaher was worthless.

We did not spend much time in the room. The room was non smoking but clearly smelled of smoke. They were booked full so we could not switch to another. I also wish the breakfast would last until 10:00. The staff are always friendly. I will stay again.

Spent a few days here while visiting family for Christmas. The room was nice and clean. It was nice to have a hot tub available. The breakfast was pretty sparse but I've seen worse. There was a blizzard just before we left. We were a little frustrated that it took very long for the parking lot to be plowed so we could leave. The woman at the counter could have been a little friendlier. The other guys that were there before were much nicer.

From the start first room they put us in, trash cans full of beer cans, beds laid in messed up, toilet needed flushed smelled heavy of cig smoke, non smoke room? Moved everything to new room. Next day wife fell in lobby on freshly mopped floors, sign was out no where close to where she fell. Desk clerk was put out that I wanted to file a accident report. First night 1:30 am other guest making so much noise could not sleep, 2nd night, 3am guest yelling doors slamming third night we left early the next morning from are planned four night stay loosing one nights room cost.Hotel could care less. Check refund policy!
