When we checked in there was blood on the bed, the bathroom had not been cleaned. Dirty towels still in the bathroom. The next day we were gone all day only to come back to the room and our room door was not completely shut. Things were missing. Manager was not friendly or very helpful with handeling the situation. Her comment was " the house keepers are not going to admit to taking anything." First of all I have no idea who took things because my room door was left open!! Will never go back!!
I got a very nice room for one night which included two double beds. It was a very clean room that smelled good. It included a big screen tv, refrigerator and microwave. I was able to iron my clothes the night we checked in. Staff was friendly. Walmart was very close by. Within 30 minutes of the arena where we were attending a convention.
We got to our room late and went to bed. When I got up in the morning, I noticed a tub mat draped over the edge of the tub. Usually, there is some type of non skid surface on the tub. How do you sanitize a tub mat? I pulled up the edge of the mat and it was wet. The suction cups were stuck to the side of the tub and there was hair on them. There was a ring in the tub where the mat would be. There was hair and dirty water marks in the sink, hair behind the door, hair and dirt on the I've bucket lid and the tray it was on. The towel shelf above the toilet was about an inch from the wall on one side. The Continental breakfast was poor. No gluten free items and no packaged items that we could trust like yogurt or fresh fruit. We cancelled our reservation for next month and won't go back. The clerk apologized and took $20 off our bill but never asked how our stay was. We had to bring it up. I felt dirty when we left.
Hotel staff were not knowledgeable. They didn't even know where their ice machine was! Not very social or friendly. Leaned down to put my little boys shoes on in our room and there were crumbs from food we didn't have! Corners in the bathroom were dirty. I didn't feel comfortable giving my child a bath in the tub. Breakfast was TERRIBLE! Some of the packets of jelly we opened were rock hard.
Stayed here since we had to attend an anniversary party in the area. Not much to pick from in this neck of the woods but was pleased to find a large clean room with a whirlpool bathtub. The people at the front desk were very helpful. The checkin and checkout were very fast and they offered helpful suggestions. Would stay here again.
Everyone there is helpful and happy to help you in any way. They went out of there way to help me with something wasn't even an issue with the hotel, it was personal. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious. The continental Breakfast is fresh and abundant.
We did show up later in the evening for our stay. Evening attendant was not very pleasant. Rooms were ok - it was a place to lay your head for the night. Looking forward to a breakfast in the morning as they did advertise that one was available. Arrived around 8:15 - 1 piece of bread, 1 piece of raisin bread and 1 muffin....the rest of the case was empty. 1 yogurt container. I though I would be safe with the cereal....I was wrong very stale. Tables were dirty and the coffee wasn't fresh. Very disappointed.
I was in town for an event at IUP and my buddy made the reservation for me. I wasn't sure what to expect at sometimes these hotels can be hit or miss in small towns. It was easy to find right off the highway. The room was very large and clean. The heat worked great and the room was warm in no time. The weather was unusually cold for this time of year so a warm room was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was quiet and we had a great night's rest. I would return to this place again.
Sign outside says newly renovated. Partly, yes. Not the cleanest...rusty old light fixture in bathroom ceiling. New sink/counter although the sink would not drain. New bathroom floor. Hairdryer broken. Old tub, dirty shower curtain. Desk chair arm loose. Wasn't told what time breakfast was & I had to check out early. Went down 6:30 am for coffee. Cold leftover coffee in pumper. Will look for different hotel next time I'm in the area.
Super friendly, helpful staff. We had to leave early due to a family health issue. Teresa checked us out in a flash. The malted waffle batter at breakfast was delicious, delicious, delicious! Lobby & room was very clean. Bathroom corners & air vent by the tub could have used a little extra attention. Room smelled clean, not like a wet dog like so many motel rooms usually do. We wanted to change from a single king to a double room at check in & that was handled easily. We had 3 rooms in our party & everyone was really pleased with the accommodations! Great place!
