Hotel was cool rooms was big and clean decor was pretty in the room. Only thing I couldn’t use the usb in the back of the tv for gaming or other things they locked it so it won’t be in use 😢
Rooms have been refurbished but several long hairs in the bathroom. Doors open up to the outside in what seemed like a sketchy neighborhood. This was a cheap room so not expecting luxury but clean and safe are top priority and this room didn’t exactly deliver.
I was most happy to see how clean and updated the hotel was. Just a few months ago i stayed somewhere down the road and that place wasnt worth a single star. Howard johnson was a very clean and safe space to stay.i would definitely stay again.
The picture of the hotel made it appear that you enter the room from within the hotel which was not the case. You entered the rooms from outside, there was no mention of that within the hotel description. The lock on the door was flimsy, i didn't feel safe.

Very nice shower and bathroom, they need to upgrade the pillows mini fridge and furniture. Its a nice hotel but it would be nice to see a desk for work not a round table beside that everything here is very good
Needs updating, painting, sound proofing. Plugs for phone and other electronics fell out of all the outlets. Smelled like smoke. Could hear people outside and downstairs. Didn’t provide fresh towels for second day.
It was unfortunate that the pool was closed due to COVID-19, but our room was great, tidy, and cozy for a weekend getaway!
Staff was nice, but the hotel has no electricity. The system should have not made reservation if the facility had no power.
There were roaches coming out of the bed. The mattress had red stains throughout I am thinking from bed bugs. Carpets were burned with cigarettes. Inside the draws had mice droppings and the odor was so bad. Needless to say we checked in and immediately checked out.
I didn't like that my room had a crack pipe in my room
Certainly room for improvement, property is nice with some caveats. The entry door didn't shut itself completely but looked shut, so easy to not notice it wasn't latched. The breakfast was present but when you have a tray full of warm sausage patties you sort of expect there to be eggs. Fortunately there was a waffle maker but the mix was nearly empty. I was able to get enough to make an almost 1/2 size waffle. If you didn't care about warm food there were bagels & such. Had acceptable Wi Fi, nice balcony area (too cold to use on my visit), a nice size jetted tub, which had some scratches and looked to be overdue for a re-glazing or replacement. Thankfully our room was on the top floor and on an end. The walls between rooms are definitely not soundproof. You could easily hear any next door neighbor activities/conversations. As it was for where we were, it wouldn't have been tolerable for a light sleeper with people above, below, and with rooms on either side of you. Overall though if I was in the area again, would consider a brief stay again as it was fairly priced. I would just try to make sure to request a top floor room on an end, or one without an occupied room next door if possible.
Overall, staff was pleasant, room was clean and comfortable-very good experience.

Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious!! Check in staff was very helpful and accommodating. The lady in the breakfast area was rude and inconsiderate. She was very outspoken in an unprofessional and lacked customer service - yelling at the guest, saying “can’t you read” while hitting the wall and pushing the guest away. Then when she saw our shocked face of disbelief, she said “yeah, I did just say that!!” This property definitely needs to replace her or it will take away such good ratings
