The Coast Blackcomb Suites at Whistler

Decent hotel stay

The Coast is ski in/ski out and in a great location. We also enjoyed the free breakfast. However, the hotel and the rooms are dated and in need of a renovation. Our room was decent in size but the sofa/couch was uncomfortable because the cushions were worn out and flat. The TV was too small for the living room area. The patio screen was torn and not in good working order. The bed was uncomfortable and in need of a new mattress. The fridge was very loud and annoying and made the enjoyment of watching TV in the living room area less appealing. The kitchen was well equipped but dated. Overall, the Coast hotel is a no frills hotel in need of a BIG renovation but the location makes up for it.

ResortQuest at Aspens on Blackcomb

Love the Aspens

We have a time share in Whistler and the Aspens is one of the options when we book bonus time so we know it well. We saw this for a great price, so we booked it. Checking in at a separate location is the norm in Whistler so we had no problem with that. Yes, the parking was a bit expensive but also the norm. Our unit was cozy, perfect for couples weekend away. If you ski, it's the ideal location for ski in and out. It's a bit of a walk to the Village but not an issue for us. The hot tubs are fantastic as well.
