this is very fantastic hotel.excellent bars and pools.not bad food.weak animation group.but most gentle&kindest &friendly bar persons were bozhidara&victoria.best wishes for them👍🙏🏼.hotel is near to beach¢er of golden sand. night shows were weak.theh shoud work on it more.english language of person was not bad.

Nice hotel. Friendly people, always ready to help. Super animation team to give a good atmosphere. Minus : not directly at the beach. When going to the beach you are obliged to rent a chair and options (+\- 15€ pp/day). Toilets near swimming pool : it is not enough to take away used tissus every hour. Cleaning is necessary as the are real dirty places. Restaurant : some nice things, but old industrial kitchen, so very often food that has been over boiled. This should be better.

Just packing up to leave, after spending a week here. Do not listen to negative reviews, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in (apart from in the Caribbean). Lovely rooms, pool is not too cold and plenty of sun beds. Found the Staff to be very professional and friendly. The restaurant was sufficient, nothing to rave about but perfectly adequate and good choice of food, could do with opening slightly later than 9pm. Animation team were great bunch, enjoyed the yoga and morning stretching. Beach is beautiful and we had great fun jumping the waves! Evening entertainment was not our thing - would suggest a couple of nights with professional band/singer maybe. One other suggestion would be could the chairs in sunshine cafe be made more comfortable? Okay in day but hard and cold to sit on during evening! Found hotel to be immaculate and all in all good standard. A week was enough for us but this is to do with resort, bit tacky but a great location for weather and this hotel. Highly recommended.

We booked the level and paid quite a considerable amount of money more. Although we had a nice room with a lovely view this was no more than what I expected for my extra money neither was anything else really that special. Overall the hotel and every thing else was very nice but do not pay the extra for the level as it is not worth it

Just came back from a week here and myself and my family had a wonderful time. The junior suite we stayed in was huge and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, pool was nice, the slides and rope course were good fun, good gym etc etc. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the food, just not 5 star food, was very average and more like 3 star but apart from that a great place to stay.

The staff was so good and very professional. The hotel and the room very spacious .Gorgeous swimming pool Area-activitis... The indoor pool is large and clean. The food was wonderful, great breakfast.nice spa.every things very very good

This was a last minute trip for our family and the first with our 21 months son with no additional helpers. So I was very anxious while making a selection and reading some of the negative reviews. We were not disappointed! The Level suite we had was spacious and had place for everyone and a great bathroom. Small bed for a kid was waiting for us on arrival even I was not requesting it in advance. Level restaurant was very nice, with no crowds despite the hotel being full. Service was very good and everyone were nice, even if they did not understand you sometimes :). Now the reasons it is not 5 star and the improvements that can be made. Room. As I wrote before it was big with everything needed in place. But the balcony facing the sea is very small. You would expect something more from the suite accommodation. It was a connected room - and the soundproof was not good at all. We were lucky to have quite people next door. Wi_fi was terrible! After me complaining for two days someone came and installed a separate router in the room. It was working great after this. Food. Was good and tasty almost all the time at Level restaurant. But it was buffet only. There were no place to go to pay to get a table service and a menu. We went to the Italian place once (reservation only). It was also a buffet, but worse. Some people went to German restaurant and were also disappointed. We had All inclusive, but would be happy top pay more if some small upscale restaurant would exist. Pool. There is a huge pool in front of the hotel always full and extremely noisy. We never used it and never will. Level pool on the other hand was very nice. It was getting full sometimes, but still was much more private. The only disappointment is no stroller access to pool level. Last few steps you had to carry stroller by yourself. Beach in front of the hotel is public, but very nice. It would be great if they negotiate some discount for the hotel guests. In any case, we will be back sometime and hope that some improvements will be made.

I've stayed in this hotel in June and it was a waste of time. First of all the weather was not fine and the sea water was very cold. I have tried the pool which was colder than the sea. This outside pool is just for making photos for the tourists, it is useless ! The services were acceptable but not really good as I expected. This is definitely not a 5 stars hotel and take this into consideration when you want to spend your holiday here. The Sea is far away from the hotel and there is no private beach. You have to pay lots of money for the seats and umbrellas, about 16 EUR/day. The parking place is also very expensive, about 10 EUR/day, consider also these expenses when you travel to Bulgaria and in the end you end up with a very expensive holiday. Even if you have an all inclusive package you don't get water to drink in the room which I consider a lack of respect for the hotel's customers from the management. You only get 1 bottle of welcome water as you can see in the photo. They are saving money on everything. There is a shop at the entry of the hotel where you can buy water (expensive of course) I don't drink alcohol and I was wondering why saving money on water if the package is AI. You can see people in the lobby filling bottles with water from reception's bar where is free but in big recipients. Ridiculous !!!!! The only good thing was the main restaurant, the food was great and tasty. The breakfast was a bit boring every day but overall a good service. Don't book Sea View because there is no such thing, only a very few rooms are having a Sea View, all others are Side Sea View and close to other balconies. Don't waste you money. The A la Carte restaurants were a good joke. Really ridiculous closing the beach pizzeria and bringing pizzas inside for the Italian Restaurant, this was very funny to see. The German restaurant was grotesque, 2 main courses very bad cooked and nothing else just snacks. Don't waste you time here too, it doesn't make sense. Coming back to the pool, there is no free seat for you just to stay at the sun because it looks like everybody is waking up at least at 5.00 A.M. to reserve a seat. Not enough seats on the pool ! If you really want to travel to Bulgaria avoid this hotel, there much better offers in Golden Sands or at least cheaper for the same expenses. If you pay 300 EUR for a whole week then it worth the money and you don't have to complain but expect different services than promised from your agency. The trick in this hotel is that there are 2 classes of tourists, cheap tourists with a low ticket which are not respected and not valued and the ones who are paying much more money but will receive normal services considered in other hotels which are named here " Level Tourists" The classification is made from the beginning on by putting another colour of bracelet in your hand. After that the whole personnel knows that you are not a valuable customer because you have bought a cheap ticket. Honestly I didn't know anything about the "level" until I got there and it was too expensive on the spot for an upgrade. The internet connection was ok. I do not recommend it only when it will be cheap enough to take it into consideration. This hotel should not belong to the Melia Group, it is a shame !

We stayed here with kids. Two adults and kids 3 and 5 years. I have to point out that we booked directly. I will try to give very unbiased review. I have extended traveling experience and work for the largest hotel company in the world myself. Location Located in the heart of golden sands resort on the first line. Here any hotel is across the pedestrian road from the beach. Beach and local rules I will review separately for the resort. You just go down from the pool and you are on the beach. Hotel us largest territory with park from what I have seen on this resort. With taxi it took us 25-30 minutes from the airport. Price is 30 EUR. We preferred to take hotel taxi for security reasons. Taxi was good on time with the sign and professional. General condition Hotel opened in 2005. Maintenance is good cause it feels like hotel is 8-10 years old max. Hotel is 5 star and you can see it. Furniture in the room is good quality as well as pool area and public zones and all still look good. Hotel is more classic then modern, you can feel that design is 15 years old. Some hotels on the resort have there zones on the beach and you do not need to pay or look for the free beach zone. This hotel cool also arrange their zone on the beach in front of the hotel. Big minus for this. Food /drinks Big plus for food quality and variety of food. No questions to food quality. Food is tasty. Breakfast always has live cooking station for pancakes and eggs. Three to four live cooking stations for dinners which is amazing including diet station. Fresh veges and fruits always. Soft drinks, beer and wine. Three bars , all inclusive program includes good variety of alcoholic drinks ans cocktails. My favorite was Mai Tai. Home wine (white, rose and red) included in the program I didn't like at all. Beer is ok. During the day you may not go for lunch to the main restaurant which is huge and have a snack at four snack stations : pizza, bierstube with German snacks, paella and panini. Also ice cream bar is available throughout a day with unlimited ice cream. In the evening besides main restaurant you can book in advance table in Italian or German theme venue. This is also included in the program the only difference is that you have to book it. Service and staff All is good in general, friendly personnel. Sometimes they can miss your first request for the ironing board but for the second time it will be done. Entertainment / Animation Huge plus here. First time I see such aunties and professional team. They work very well, you won't be bored.Day begins and ends with the cool club dance, every evening there is a night program. Usually all hotels hire professional artist for all programs. Here also but animation team also prepares cool theatre shoes themselves very professional and with dresses and good humor sense. Good is that stage is down in the park and if you relax in room you are not bothered at all any time. There are also three water slides, huge outdoor pool with kid zones, indoor pool, outdoor sport pool , volleyball playground and rope park. Kids Kids club where animation team works well, also two kids playgrounds. Cleanliness Here is the most space for improvement. Bedding changed in our case, only once in 9 nights . You may finds hair on your bed when you first come in. Sometimes room made forgets to do vacuum cleaning during the day cleaning. WiFi There is free wifi, very very slow. Almost nothing. You can use messengers and read email. Wifi hardly covers pool area. You can use it in the lobby and in the room. Feels like there is limited internet access. Resume: I will recommend this hotel to my friends + location Animation Food General condition Infrastructure - Wifi No hotel zone on the beach Cleanliness (partially cause in general it is clean) There is also something available for members only, called level program, but as I'm not a member I can't say anything here

Room: Very nice spotlessly clean, carpeted 2 adults and a 16 year old so had an extra bed which is only a camp bed style but the room was great. Lovely bathroom. Not a great view really it was a side sea view so mainly trees but could just about see the sea to the side. Bathrobes and slippers provided. Pool : fantastic pool area and great entertainment around the pool during the day. very busy so need to be early to get a lounger. (well one with an umbrella for shade). water slides are really good 3 in total. Open at different times during the day. Very fun Location: A quick walk down the steps to everything on the promenade. Shops, bars, restaurants and rides etc and also the beach. The location is fantastic. sunshine bar: By the pool great to sit for a drink. German snacks: Ok nothing special. sausages pretzels and potatoes and cabbage Pizza corner: lovely pizzas made every few minutes for snacks throughout the day. Panini corner: Very nice paninis from 10 am till 5pm. may i add the lady serving was very rude. The first time i asked for a panini she glared at me and stuck her finger up to say "wait" (her panini maker was full) not that i realised. It wasnt just me as i heard people complain. One German guy actually gave her a lecture saying " if you dont want to work here then go somewhere else" dont be nasty and rude to customers" she was however nicer after that Main restaurant; Only thing i think about this hotel that lets it down is the food. If you like pork you will be ok and so do i!! But every meal almost, few times i had raw food pink in the middle on pork and chicken. Bit into a breaded chicken wing and blood ran out! very raw. Kids struggled to find something they liked to be honest. I am not fussy eater but i like my food cooked :( Breakfast was good lots of choice nothing amazing i have had better 3 and 4 star hotels to have better food. Italian restaurant: has to be booked in reception. Very dissapointed. small choice pizza was cold, lasagna tasteless. What they dont tell you is that its self service. We thought after being to other hotels and booking a restaurant it would be served. that was fine though as i like to get my own BUT i think that when you sit down you should be told this. Many customers whilst i was there (an hour max) sat down and were waiting to be given a menu until they realised. Was a real shame as this was the last night and was waiting for something special :( German evening meal - No comments as never booked there. Never saw anybody in there at all either! Indoor pool looked amazing but never used as was fab outside. I really wouldnt pay extra for the level. Didnt find it value for money really as drinks are great anyway dont need the branded ones. Also they have there own little pool but i woiuld rather have the large pool and watch entertainment happening. Also the sunbeds didnt seem a great deal better and they were further back from the pool also. Overall we had an amazing time in this hotel. It isnt a 5 star. Its a 4 star. Beautiful hotel, great pool good entertainment, good value and central. Only the food and little things let it down. This wouldnt stop me from going back again.
