The property is still restarting after a covid lockdown so I was not expecting normal operations but it was a pleasant surprise. The grounds were well maintained albeit the building and facilities were a bit dated. Cleanliness and sanitation was visibly done multiple times during the day. Only 1 Resturant was operating on site and that was for breakfast only but The Waves Resturant and The Seahorse Resturant are right next to the resort. Waves is open for lunch and dinner while Seahorse is available for dinner only. Make reservations as both restaurants are very popular. The room was large, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The television is on the small side but you won’t be in the room for long periods. The beach is to the back of the resort or the very large swimming pool is always welcoming. There are 2 bars on the property, 1 is a swim up at the pool and the other is air conditioning and has a pool table. A nice resort that is made special by the dedicated staff.

I really like the giant summing pool in the middle of the resort. The breakfast was also excellent

Loved the location and the fact that kids are not allowed.

Beautiful and great view and access to the ocean.

No entertainment Staff ordering friends and relations instead of licenced taxis Food not great Lovely Island

The hotel was under construction so we would have had to walk back and forth to the sister hotel next door for food or drinks. No one told us that until the end of actual check-in. We decided to move to the sister property next door that was not adults only and received WONDERFUL service. We still moved that night to a totally different property because of unending rain flies in the room.

Was nice by the sea. Staff were very friendly and helpful (bartenders, front desk) Would have been better if the pool bar was opened and and hot tub out side. Due to Christmas the menu was limited, and only one restaurant was opened. The gift shop was closed the whole time also. We did not see that we could have had a meal/spa plan on-line! I only saw a breakfast plan. More details on this would have been nice. the maid only cleaned great the first day. The next there was still coffee grounds on the sink and no new coffee or shampoos left. Toilet paper came very close to running out on the last day. Orders were wrong on breakfast. Missing cheese...peppers when I didn't want them.

Firstly, because of the reviews we saw on your site we decided to stay at this hotel. This was the mistake of a lifetme. The service at the hotel was terrible and because my husband is handicapped and is unable to get around made it even more disastrous. There was no one present at the front desk on check in & check out. The restaurant staff were very unwilling to serve and expressed their disatisfaction when we asked for a cup of coffee. Whenever we asked about what was going on at the hotel or its environs no one seemed to know and did not care to find out for us. After bringing it to the managers attention they offered us complimentary dinner and drinks but the damage was already done!!!!

The staff was really friendly. The views were great, overlooking the ocean and sunset. The rooms were pretty clean, with somewhat outdated furniture and bathrooms, but it wasn't a bother to me. I didn't spend much time in the room anyway. the pool area and eating areas were very nice. Price was in line with what you received. Overally, I was very pleased and would return if the chance came up.

Let's start with checkin: Did not have our info in the system, even though they took our prepayment since November 2010 for a February 2011 arrival. Front desk was short, rude and unprofessional. One employee had on unflattering house clothes! No set uniforms for any employees. Room: Deluxe ocean view. The view was perfect. However the rooms were 1980s luxury at best (no updated amenities, TV, Ipod docks, washcloths, etc..) Bathroom had mildew shower curtains, insect infestation, rusted shower and sink knobs and little ants everywhere!!! The entire room had an unclean, mildew stench to it. A change of room resulted in the same issues. All inclusive: False advertisement! This "spa resort" claims that you get a spa treatment everyday that you're there (they fail to mention that it is upon their discretion and of course we didn't qualify) We paid the extra money for all inclusive; however all the amenitites were not available to include water sports (place was closed) spa treatments (blessing in disguise because the entire spa area wreaked of mildew. Overall the employees were unfriendly (with the exception of housekeeping who advised me to speak up and address the rude individuals that I encountered) and unprofessional. I was able to know all of a specific employees personal life from sitting at breakfast while two others discussed her in front of us. In addition, all the tropical birds that left fecal matter on the tables, landings and chairs at breakfast was disgusting!!! The property is in a beautiful location; my suggestion to this 'spa resort' and I use the term very loosely is to shut down, renovate your establishment for the 21st century and don't even think about charging 5 star prices for a at best 1 star property. The better business bureau needs to investigate this place.

I stayed here over MLK Day weekend with my father. I wanted to book a relaxing vacation with him. He's 69 and I'm 27. The hotel is located about 20 minutes away from where all the action is. The hotel staff is lovely. The night audit, Hazel, is a nightmare. The grounds are extremely lovely. There are A LOT of steps (to get to the beach, the pool, etc.) -- so if you have a hard time getting around, I would not recommend this location. We did have to change rooms three times (the safe didn't work in one, the air condition didn't work in the other two); however, the manager was nice enough to comp my father and I with a dinner meal (I only got the all inclusive breakfast package). I recommend getting the all inclusive meals as there isn't much nearby and things tend to close early. The staff is what really made the hotel (minus Hazel, the night audit). Their service and attention to making sure my dad had an amazing stay, made me close my eyes to a lot of the BS with the rooms. All in all, this is a good place to stay if you don't want to me admist all the action. There is a lovely spa as well, where Stephanie gives wonderful massages. There was a gym that I also used. I enjoyed myself as did my father. I would stay in this location again, especially if I had a large group. If I wanted to stay in Tobago and be closer to the nightlife, I wouldn't stay here. However, if I wanted to just come, lay on a beach, drink by a pool, and not do anything else...definitely!

Dear Bev, We are happy to hear that you love our island, but indeed sad to hear your experience with our resort was a less than pleasant one. The resort is under new management effective March 2018. Our teams are ready and excited to serve you better.
