It was a quick one night stay. Accommodating and quiet
The photo on this site looked nothing like the actual property. The building was run down. My door, although it would latch, was offset from the frame by 2-3 inches. The king bed had one pillow on it. Asked for two more and they were brought. There was one towel and one hand towel in the bathroom. The floor had dead bugs on it. We entered the room, I went and got food; we ate and were going to turn in for the night. The manager and his wife? and kids were in the corridor adjacent to our room. Riding bikes, bouncing balls, yelling, laughing etc. It was 10:00 at night. At around 10:45 pm we loaded the car and left to head home. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Orbitz should be ashamed to affiliate with this property.
The room was clean but the door needs a weather seal because you could see light on the top , bottom and the side that opened. The door appeared to be warped even though it was metal. Impossible to make the room dark. I was once a carpenter. Otherwise it was a nice place.
Convenient to Barber Motorsport Park and Moody/Leeds retail and restaurants. The motel has been updated since I last stayed there and looks better. The breakfast was better too - the basics plus waffle maker. The rooms include microwave, mini-fridge and good size LCD TV. The only issue I had was that the people above me paced - no, stomped - around their room ALL night long. I don't know what they were doing but I heard it at 10, 3 a.m., and when I left at 6:45 a.m.! The next morning manager offered to get me a different room but I declined. I'd rather she have asked those people what they were up to.
I have stayed at a $30 Knights Inn that was cleaner than this place, absolutely disgusting and needs to be shut down!
Place to sleep only, cheapest close to destination. You get what you pay for.
