We stayed here after attending a concert at the amphitheater. It was close enough that we were able to walk there. The hotel was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom area was very clean. Pool was nice. The free breakfast was great. The only thing I would say that wasn't great was the selection of channels for the tv. But we weren't really in the room long enough to watch anything anyway. Overall it was a great place to stay the night and I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Pelham again!
The staff is lovely, but the place is a little shabby and feels a bit less than safe. Groundskeepers start up behind before eight o'clock. The beds feel a bit creepy, but again, it was ok. Running in the area is good.
We made reservations on the way here. Surprised something was available given the SEC tournament in town and a holiday weekend. Room was nice, toilet and shower reminds me of a tiny house. Quiet considering busy area. We'll use them again for price.
After a long, tiring day in the car through driving rain, it was a pleasure to check into this Quality Inn just south of Birmingham, AL. We found the room to be clean, the beds comfortable and, aside from some weather-related "fluttering" of the TV (dontcha love satellite?), everything was great. Very close to a variety of restaurants and eateries like Ruby Tuesday and Hooters and quick stops like McDonalds, Chick-fil-A, etc. The complimentary breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast (eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, waffle, cereals, breads, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc.) but very good and tasty. We would highly recommend this property to those travelling through Alabama.
The tub was clean!! It was white! I've been to numerous hotels and there are VERY FEW with clean white tubs! Bathroom and floor was clean! Bed and pillows were nice and soft. The room did not have an odor and no bad odor submerged when the air conditioning came on!! I will definitely go back!!
BED BUGS!! Crawling on the pillows and on top of the sheets. When I confronted the management Cynthia said “What do you want me to do about it.” “It’s not my fault.” “Do you expect me to look for them”. If you want bed bugs stay here.
The hotel looks to have gone through some renovations since our last stay, which is a plus for us (those carpets were in dire need of replacement.) Our room was very clean, beds were comfy and the property was, and felt safe. Security cameras on sight even though the area is very nice. FREE breakfast included, was a positive plus. The desk clerk Crystal, was friendly and had a very bubbly outgoing personality. She was very patient and helpful with directing my friend and I to UAB (we get lost every time!!) Lots of places nearby, and a variety of all night gas stations which is nice. We will be returning when we have to stay in the future for sure. Thanks QI for a great stay and excellent customer service!!!
Stopped here on my way back home. Single room was all I needed for one night. Choice rewards were screwed up so they couldnt help. Breakfast is offered from 6:30 to 9:30. Stopped and got coffee and small plate. I mistakenly got the wrong persons check out form. The clerk was not attentive as someone was complaining and must have taken her concentration away. This bill had information that should not be available under HEPA laws. Called when I got to my next destination and they emailed me the bill. Breakfast could be better. Refrigerator in room was not level. Parking is tight.
I'm glad I didn't read some of these reviews before staying here, or I wouldn't have come. We had a good stay here for 2 nights. The room and bathroom were both very clean. No stains on the carpet or bedding. Bed/pillows were comfortable. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was good -- nice variety. There were several good restaurants close by. No complaints at all.
The place in decentish shape from what I saw. All the front desk staff were friendly and pleasant. I habe no complaints about the room or breakfast. I was staying 4 nights for business and my work ends late at night. The housekeeping staff were absurdly loud. They kept having shouted conversations between 10-12 in the morning. The place was pressure washed the first morning. I guess our do not disturb sign was knocked off. Someone banged on the door and yelled, "manager!" I wondered if it was something important and got up. Dude was housekeeping. Don't know why he identifies himself as management when banging on doors but he should stop. He was rude when I told him the sign must've got knocked off. I had to get a new sign from a different housekeeping lady because he was a bit of a tool. Same guy shoved the door open while walking by the last morning (the door stuck and had to be closed with conviction). Shut it, walked off with no word of apology. That young man needs some coaching.
