If you choose the hotel, just be aware that they have smoking rooms and allows dogs. The hallways all smelled like cigarette smoke. The overall feel was not very clean. There were lots of dogs there and you could tell it on the carpets.

We forgot my husbands pillow the night we stayed. A very nice lady named Pat that I talked to on the phone took my CC# and then took the pillow after she got off work and sent it to us via UPS ! How's THAT for customer service?? Cleanliness good, above average for "Interstate" motel. Will probably stay here again when we head to Florida.

They advertise breakfast until 10. At 9 they were out of most breakfast items. In addition, they were out of plates. How does a facility serving food daily allow themselves to run out of plates?

I came into town and stayed here for just a night for a wedding and I will say from the minute I walked through the door and was greeted until I left the next morning the hotel was great. The room was clean and quiet, the hotel was nice and not outdated like other LaQuinta's that I have been to. For the price and the location it really wasn't a bad deal, different groceries/pharmacy/shopping was close by and less than a mile off the interstate.

Lobby was nice and neat, and staff was pleasant. Room was clean, but beds needed bigger/more pillows. Bathroom needed some improvement. Breakfast was mediocre, but area was clean and updated.

Wonderful service prior to check in / telephone assistance with front desk late check in. Wonderful service front desk check in upon arrival.

Hotel property looks very good from the outside. However, halls throughout the property were dirty and smells like bad. The room was intended as non-smoking. What I got was a non-smoking room that someone had smoked in. The carpet was wet and the room was musty. Additionally, other guests hair was in the wash basin. I have stayed on 2 different La Quinta properties where the property was no maintained well..I think it is time to move away from the brand.

The physical plant and ground were nice and clean. Just off the freeway enough an good access via free way to points east west etc...good location. Pet friendly, so be prepared to meet and greet dogs of various temperments and sizes.

Quick stop on our way too north Carolina we only had a couple of hours rest but it was very good! Clean, comfortable and nice! Will stay again! Continental breakfast was good only thing needed is better coffee.

we had driven long hours. At check-in, the hostess was very curtious, very friendly, and very quick with getting us in. When we entered the room, i found it to be very clean and roomy....roomy is a big plus!!! The staff was just amazingly friendly, made us feel at home!! The only changes i would make are: we didnt know there was a microwave and fridge as they were hidden in a cabnet, not a big deal....and the only other thing, and its not just with this hotel, its been with all hotels we have ever stayed....the handicap room bathrooms really need some extra things, like a shower that someone that is wheel chair bound can actually use without assistance, and a shower chair that can also be used by someone wheel chair bound, that being said...i thought this hotel was one of the better ones we have stayed...ty

This was a in between stop from driving from La to home. Was clean roomy and uncluttered. The continental breakfast was great!

For the price feel I stole it. Quiet location but not far from anything you need. I'm a trucker and stay had food delivered and all. I would definitely recommend to others.

It was clean and a great deal for the area. Big room with comfy beds. Few minor hiccups like there was no remote in the room. I had to go to the front desk the second evening to go get one because they did not bring one when I called. The phone in the room did not work and that really would not matter much except I did not get good cell service in the room. Wifi was great. Allergy sufferers beware...they use a lot of chemicals (maybe Febreeze) and don't air out the rooms but many hotels do this. They allow dogs. It was great location for Oak Mountain park and Dive Alabama. Elevators and ice machines worked.

The bath room floor was filthy, bath tub and sink were not as bad as the floor, but far from clean. I asked for an extra blanket and pillows, front desk staff told me 'everyone has been asking for blankets and pillows, we don't have any' Breakfast was blah Beds were comfortable

I was very impressed with The La Quinta. I have stayed at that location for the Christmas, and The Fouth of July before. I love the fact that pets are welcome. I am a dog owner my self. The location was convientent to shopping and fine food establishments. In simple terms a wonderful stay.

Anytime we needed something in the lobby, there was a long wait at the counter with the clerk not even acknowledging that we were there. The location was convenient to a relative's apartment. Breakfast bar looked pretty good - waffles, eggs, etc. In room coffee was unpredictable, and creamer packets were not provided after the 1st of 4 days even tho I left a note asking for some. There was no microwave in the room. The room was pretty clean, but the carpets and common areas seemed a little grimy - spills on the floors not cleaned up, carpet spotted in places, etc.

Although this hotel is rather nice and okay, it is a "pet friendly" hotel. We had to request clean sheets for one bed and change them ourselves because it was full of little hairs like that with a dog. Also, there was urine in the elevator. I have a dog and this is not unusual. They should confine animals to a certain floor to avoid problems with hair. There were only 2 towels and we could not get more because they ran out. Room was extra large. A cousin had gone with us at the last minute and we got a lot of hassle trying to get a roll-away bed.

fine stay.everything was clean.only got a refresh instead of room clean because we forgot door tag?

Can't say enough, the staff, room, location were great all our needs were meet!

I've stayed at this hotel before, and it was perfectly fine last time. However, since I stayed there 4 or 5 years ago, it's gotten much worse. The general condition of the hotel was poor and dirty. My wife even commented as we entered the elevator, "How could anyone just let this be this dirty all the time?" All it needed was someone to wipe it down, but the entire time we were there, it never got any attention. Our first hotel room we were assigned had a broken TV in it, and a bug crawling in EACH bed when we checked. So we requested a new room, and were put directly next door in a handicapped room that had a broken toilet. Though we made a call to get it fixed, it wasn't fixed while we were there. I understand this isn't a Ritz Carlton, but the condition of this place has really gotten worse over the past few years, and our stay at the hotel really wasn't that enjoyable.
