Booked a night at this hotel as a pit stop for Drayton Manor and so glad we did. Firstly it was my sons birthday I can't thank them enough for all the trouble they went to balloons, cards, chocolate dipped strawberries and to my sons delight a teddy bear all in the room as a surprise for him! He was thrilled. A really kind gesture that helped him over come the fact the pool was closed upon our arrival. A cuddle with Ted did the job. Thanks again the Twist Family.
Our 20+ group staying for a wedding nearby had a very enjoyable couple of days at this large , well run hotel. Rooms clean if a little outdated, food up to 4 star standard with limited but well chosen menu options, breakfast excellent, Saturday buffet good. Expensive room wifi is very disappointing nowadays. Generally very efficient and friendly staff despite dealing with a busy mix of golfers, wedding parties and couples.
The first room we were offered was a long way from the lift, stairs etc so the very helpful young lady offered us another room which was fine. The grounds are very large and very well kept. The swimming pool was nice, very busy but it was August. We used the casual pub for dinner and we were very pleased with the quality The hotel was very quiet . The only downside was no cold water for showers etc in the morning .an electric problem we understand. On a golf course,.
Didn't rate this hotel they are too pretentious without actually caring about your stay, when checking in I was asked the same question 6 times! If they were actually asking to listen once would of been enough, this was kind of the theme throughout fake friendliness, the food was below average and my room was dated, better hotels for the price
We travelled from the south coast to celebrate my cousins wedding - we arrived Friday afternoon and enjoyed the lovely spa facilities. We then had a lovely meal in the Zest bar were the service was amazing. One particular worker stood out from all the rest - Elliot. He served my dinner to me and in doing so I knocked over my drink - without a question or my request he replenished my drink for me. Then my 6 year old daughter was very excited for her big cousin to glue on her false nails ready for the big day on Saturday - unfortunately the products were faulty and I had a very upset little girl - Elliott had clocked all this and went to the spa to see if he could find any nail glue for me. He then without being asked came over and showed me an image of the glue I needed from the Boots website - he checked if it was correct and then offered to collected it on the way into work the next morning. I was overwhelmed by his customer service as feel he went above and beyond his role. His was there the next morning with the nail glue I needed and had one very happy 6 year old. Thank you very much Elliot you are a credit to the hotel.
Stopped here for 3 nights in family room(We have 4 yr old girl and 8 yr old boy) after arriving at previous hotel and being disgusted went straight online and managed to find this with a room Free, staff were great with kids, room was ideally sized and clean, grounds are really well kept, kids liked seeing the deer every morning as we left, breakfast was really good too and the pool was good. Ideally situated, we used it as a base to go to Cadburys world, Warwick castle and West Midland safari.
The forest of Arden is in a beautiful setting. When you first enter deer can be visibly seen. A nice touch. The service is great. The breakfast has a wide variety and is very nice. Very close to nec, a good mall with a cinema. Nice big rooms and lots of places to walk.
Second stay this year, the service was excellent and the stay very enjoyable, food was excellent and really enjoyable. Staff are very helpful and make the stay really worthwhile. The facilities here are amongst the best I have stayed in this country.
My family stayed here for a wedding and we were very impressed with the whole package. The grounds are beautiful and the fact that we saw deer roaming was a bonus! Though I don't play golf, my husband thought the course was first class. My husband and I had a double room which was spacious and very comfortable, while three sons who were with us shared a family room, they made good use of the gym and swimming pool. I swam each day and found the pool to be lovely, relaxing and much bigger than I expected for a hotel pool. The staff at both the hotel and the leisure centre were accommodating, professional and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were lovely and were spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the hotel and the leisure centre. The choice and quality of the breakfast was excellent and catered for all tastes with a chef on hand to cook eggs/omlettes/pancakes on request, again the staff were very attentive and couldn't be faulted. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again without hesitation
We had our wedding at the forest and from start to finish could not fault anything, apart from the bar prices.staff where brilliant food was lovely,we had a truly wonderful day.we stayed for two nights rooms were fine spacey and clean.Overall brilliant weekend only reason haven't given 5 stars bar prices very expensive.
