Why bother having a kitchen if one must hall up all your stuff three flights of stairs and no elevator???

An older location - however, my room was very clean. I noticed that the back door that used your key was broken and it was always open. It was a quiet location and I would stay their again. I do science programs with students and teachers and it was very close to the school that I was going to visit.

The price for the hotel was great. However there seems to be an infestation problem with the cockroaches and stink bugs. I informed the staff upon check out that they needed to get the place sprayed. When I woke up up in the morning to take a shower there was a cockroach waiting for me in the tub itself. And there was an inch and a half long one outside the room on the wall clear as day. I travel to that part of town every month because of work and I may consider changing to another hotel in the area.

it was an amazing stay... i truely enjoyed it, staff was nice

The hotel itself is older so it does have its older smells and looks. I called the night of to make sure it was ok if I came late. I was told yes that somebody would be there. I wasn't told there was a curfew to be checked in or such as that. I arrived and the lady said luckily she was still there. She gave us a key to a room with no number. The key didn't work, told her, still didn't work, told her again, still didn't work. Then she gives us another room. It wasn't even clean and smelled of urine! She had us follow her to give us another key, then forgot about us!! She said she was new. I feel like I stayed as nice as I could. We got in a room at 1:30 am. The next morning (with the "do not disturb" sign on the door) room service still comes knocking on the door hours before checkout. We were ready to ceckout but the front desk lady was out front busy smoking. So after she made us wait till she was done she asked if we needed future reservations. We made sure to say, no thank you!

The only problems I had were the cleanliness of the room and security. The room had not been dusted in awhile, the refrigerator top had not been dusted at all.Around 2 am a group of 15-20 young adults were inside and outside the hotel "partying" very loud. The following morning in the parking lot had broken wine bottle and garbage.

Good location, good price. Everything else was sub-par. Walked in to find a dead roach on the floor and fecal remains in the toilet. Asked for a non-smoking room but it was on floor designated for smoking and my room was at the end of the hall. No ice was available in the hotel!

This hotel is perfect for families on extended plans vacations. With a full size frig and all the things needed, but without the food.

Our visit was an overnight rest for an appointment at UAB Hospital, about 6 miles further North on I65. No free breakfast, but convenient to many fast food and full service resturants.

Nothing much to say. Hotel in minimum in appearance and attractiveness. Would be good place for men to stay for extended periods. Women would not like at all.

THE HOTEL STAFF WAS NICE AND THE ROOM WAS JUST ENOUGH FOR A SINGLE PERSON OR A COUPLE. [...] PAID $5.00 FOR INTERNET ACCESS. WOULDVE STAYED THE WHOLE WEEK BUT 348.00 WAS A LITTLE TO MUCH. CLEAN ROOM SOFT BED NO NOISE

i enjoyed the stay and slept very well , the only thing i would have liked diffrent would have been more vending options as far a snacks and stufff versus having to go out

The location of the hotel is great! It is close to several malls/shopping centers and Walmart! However, the hotel itself is in desperate need of updates and a deep cleaning. The floor inside my room was dirty and had lots of stains, as well as, the sofa and the mattress (on top and underneath). I would recommend paying a few extra dollars and staying in a hotel that is well kept.

I would stay at this hotel every time I traveled! Upon check in, I was supplied with extra coffee & towels. Check in was speedy and pleasant. The room was clean & perfect!! We were VERY impressed.

We chose the hotel because of the kitchen suite. However there were very little supplies in the kitchen. We had to purchase some cookware. The oven door wouldn't open all the way. There wasn't even paper towels or dish washing liquid in the room. Bed was comfy though. Asked for non-smoking room and got smoking. A/C quit working in middle of night but was quickly repaired. Over all... OK for the price.

Front desk was friendly. No room service unless you stayed 7 or more nights- understandable. If we needed anything (towels ect.) we could contact the front desk. I enjoyed having a full kitchen. There was a Super Walmart across the street, and only minutes away from a lot of places to eat, movie theatre, and shopping plazas. I did not like the bed sheets. they were very thin, and you could see the matress through it. We went and bought our own. Besides that, I enjoyed our stay in Birmingham in this hotel.

This place is a dump.

THE STUDIOPLUS WAS VERY CLEAN COMFORTABLE. WE HAD AVERY GOOD STAY. NICE LOCATION. A VERY GOOD AREA
