The room was nasty, burn holes in sheets, bed not on it's foundation, bathroom shower stall was gray with dirt and filth, mold on bathroom ceiling and in main room wall, AC was filthy and smelled of smoke and mold, fridge was not cold and dirty on the outside, lamp was broken, holes in the walls, vent was black with mold. The entire room smelled of mold and stale smoke. It was supposed to be a non smoking room.

Nothing the bathroom was dirty and the got bed bugs and roaches

I got propositioned by several Sex workers, There was constant in-and-out drug deals, This hotel should not be recommended on your website. I have stayed at a lot of hotels and motels in my time and this is by far though where is total I have ever been in And I have been in some ratchet hotels

Property was overall very dirty and the room smelled like mold and cigarette smoke

I am normally not a harsh reviewer. I try to look at the positive most of the time. The only positive area in this property is Tasha at the front desk at night. She is the only saving grace of this place. Like most inns owned by East Indians ( no this is not a racist rant this is a fact ) the owners of this property are like slumlords. I really suggest the health department look into this property. I don’t think this is humanly habitable. I suggest a slight upgrade. Doesn’t have to be expensive because I am a business owner, too. I think a fresh new paint job should do some wonders. Minor expense for maximum improvement. And folks you can write off the expense, that’s a beautiful thing. I was so tired a put my face on the bed covers and bed sheets and I kid you not after about 15 minutes I developed an allergic reaction in the face and body. I went to the Waffle House next door to eat, my face grew reddder and bumpier. I didn’t want to compromise my health and safety. I transferred to the Red Roof Inn 2 miles down in Irondale. It was excellent for just $10 bucks more. Please owners I beg of you to invest a little in your business, the rewards, the excellent praise and reviews and more business will come back a hundred fold. Good luck folks! Hope you listen to your customers and not get offended by the truth? The truth hurts but we’ve got to hear it. Thanks kindly!

This hotel is in a questionable / unsafe area. The beds are sunken from poor quality or just old. My brother watched a roach crawl out of the bathtub ! This was a last minute booking and I got what I paid for. Thankful I was with my brother. I would not stay in this hotel alone.

Arrived and nobody was at the front desk. Called and nobody answered. Waited thirty minutes thinking perhaps they used the bathroom. Found security guard who could barely walk and he knocked somewhere and they came out. The lady made me repeat everything and said there was not a reservation when there was because she had to turn her computer on. Entered the room and it smelled terrible like mildew. There was hair all over the toilet and on the bed sheets when I went to check for no bugs. There was blood stains on the sheets. I didn't want to touch the bed and later the lady at he front took forever to get to the front I just laid there wishing I never came. I travel often but this was first time I found it this nasty like they didn't put clean sheets or cleaned the bathroom. The shower was even dirtier. I recommend anything but here. I wouldn't even go anywhere near here to eat breakfast. There breakfast area looked messy and liked nobody took care of the area. The cereal looked old. Next morning I returned the key and told the man at the front desk the experience was so terrible with hairs all I over the room long and short and the service in the night getting our ksy and he said oh it wasn't me sorry.

Spent a comfortable late afternoon and night at this motel, continued on to the airport in the morning. My experience was pleasant enough.

The breakfast was hard English muffins and little Debbie cakes. And I won't use your service either

The hotel was disgusting, blankets had cigarette burns; room was non smoking and I could smell smoke, it's in a bad part of town. If you don't mind a rat hole I would have rather paid 30 bucks more and stayed in a nicer hotel. I'd not stay there with family

Dirty -outdated -holes in walls- gross carpet Just a straight dump Pool was full of gravel

Comfortable, affordable, & great location for what this trip required.

Room smell smoke. Bed and bathroom are dirty. Blanket seem like never been washed, i saw a lot of hair on and the pillows are flat and dirty i counldnt lay my head on have to put the tower on it. Never ever again.

Had a small problem checking in which i already had booked the room...they charged my twice and then had to reimburse the mo ey back to me....got to room and maybe a couple hours later housekeeping came around and proceeded to open the door after i said hold on a minute..they wanted to know if i wanted a clean air filter i found that really odd..i think they were just being nosy

Check out was at 11am Sunday.....the staff tried to rush me out at 10am

I consider myself easy to please; if you give me a clean safe place to stay at a reasonable price I am happy. This hotel was AWFUL. Here are a few reasons why: 1)When we arrived (in mid-summer)we were greeted by an empty swimming pool half-covered with a black tarp, turned over patio furniture holding the tarp in place. 2)There were overflowing dumpsters front, side, and back. 3)Men hanging out at the back stairwell exchanging money for ???? 4)FINALLY- the most incredibly rude owner I have ever dealt with. Breakfast was advertised as beginning at 6:30 and the first morning we ate at 6:30 without incident. The second morning we showed up at 6:30 (needed to grab something and run) and the manager/owner opens the door a crack and says "Breakfast 6:45". When I explained that the literature and employee told us 6:30 and that the day before we had eaten at 6:30 he says "I run this place, 6:45 is new time, that literature in room is old time". He was a complete jerk, took my key card through the crack in the door and through it because he was mad that I told him I would report his rudeness in my review. Bottom line: They do not care about customers, only money!

CHEAP PLACE FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKERS AND ADULTREY STAY AWAY FROM THE WAFFLE HOUSE

I have found that this a great affordable place to stay while in Birmingham on monthly business trips. The staff is friendly, and my room is always clean and comfortable. I enjoy the proximity to the airport as well.

I love this hotel. I always come here when I'm in Birmingham. The rooms are excellent. The staff is horrible. When I checked in i had to wait 30 minutes bc the lady was not at her desk. She was outside walking her baby. Then when I checked out she was not there. After 30 minutes I just left the key on the desk. Other than that this place is great and I highly recommend it

The room was never cleaned and dust everywhere over an inch of it
