I requested non-smoking but room smelled heavy of cigareets. I called front desk and informed them, also ask for housekeeping to maybe spray for the smoke. I was told they did not have anything to freshen the room due to smoke smell. No offer was made to change my room. Housekeeping also did not clean my room on second day.

I stayed one night with my wife, father-in-law, and 3 kids. I called the hotel to let them know we will be arriving at midnight and not to give our rooms away. At the time I placed my call, I had driven from Dallas, TX to Merridian MS and was eating dinner at 10 pm. I placed all the men in a room and the ladies in a separate room. The smell of the carpet in both rooms smelled like sweatie feet. Although, both reservations for the rooms were non-smoking, we initial got two rooms that wreaked with smoke smell IN COMBINATION with smelly feet. Needless to say we asked for two more rooms and this time the smoke smell was gone, but the new rooms still had the smelly feet smelly from the carpet. The time is now 1 am and one of the heaters in the room didnt work. So at 2 am, I asked for another room and now me finally got two rooms with heat since the temperaturs that night was below freezing. Inside both rooms walls was dingy, dusty, and the overall feel that would make anyone want to puke. It was 2 am in the morning and we've been driving for 12 hours already so we just dealt with the unacceptable nastiness of this hotel. I had to kill roaches and spiders and the bathrooms were so dirty looking, it felt uncomfortable to bath or shower. This is the NASTIEST hotel I've ever been to and I've been traveling for 20 years. Orbitz should take this hotel off the list of acceptable choices and the state of alabama should be ashamed to allow this business to operate.

The breakfast was horrible. Room had no blankets and it was 20 degrees out. Only ad decaffinate coffee i rom. Staff ok

Room was suppose to be non smoking. It was not. Walls dirty, parking lot dirty, the room stunk. We asked for a different room and it was better but not great.

I was in Alabama to do a show at Zydeco.Upon entering the room my wife went to the sink to waah her face after our 4 hour trip. My wife leaned against the sink and her blue top was bleached from clorox being unwiped on sink.Front desk was notified they refused to do anything even after i showed them pics my wife and i took outside before entering the lobby.Terrible customer service.

Friendly staff, clean room and I rested comfortably.

Good value for the price-clean room and friendly staff although room finishes need upgrading

Not the best I ever stayed at but clean and comfortable. For the price it was fine. B'fast was OK, nothing special, oatmeal, cereal and bagels. For the price just fine.. Easy access off I-20..

You get what you pay for! The room was clean! Thats about it

The location of the hotel was not in the best area of town. The person who greeted us at the front desk was not very amiable. She was not engaging and did not express much concern for our needs. The room itself smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The interior was very outdated, and the only good was that the sheets seemed to be clean. not sure if the blanket or comforter had been washed in a while. There was evidence of water damage on the walls. The door was obviously damaged and the locks were broken except for the door knob one. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and we will not ever stay here again. it is a true statement, you get what you pay for. We felt that this room wasn't worth even the low price that we did pay.

We checked in late and The Staff was great very friendly the room was large and very comfortable The staff even started breakfast early the next morning because of the people like myself that were leaving early to make the Big Race at Talladega Super Speedway
