Days Inn West Yellowstone

Granted, we booked late but this place was $250/night. It hurt when I had to pay for 3 days for such a crappy hotel. The hotel is rundown, there's not even a lock on the bathroom door. If we'd paid $75/night it would be okay, but that wasn't what we paid. Thanks to their location they don't have to put much effort into keeping up the hotel.

Wi-Fi can connect, but Internet did not working, the breakfast is too long, so we gave up.

This hotel is very average. My family didn't sleep well, the walls were thin and there was a lot of noise. We did enjoy the water slide. Breakfast was not good and we ended up just going somewhere else in town. Location is the biggest plus.

Hotel is great as you do not have to contend with the crowds in the park and you have everything you need within walking distance with great activities for the kids as well. The water slide is a great feature !!

The Days Inn was OK. Breakfasts were very good. The Town of West Yellowstone is super. Many nice shops and restaurants. Conveniently close to the entrance of Yellowstone Park. The hotel room had no outside windows that could be opened and the air conditioner was extremely loud. The bathroom door wouldn't stay shut.

Hotel was great. Two breakfasts that were complimentary. The hotel had an indoor pool and waterslide which the kids loved.

The only reason the town of W Yellowstone exists is to exploit tourists who couldn't get lodging within the park boundaries. This hotel is old, noisy, and expensive.

A good simple hotel. Large rooms, nothing fancy for sure. So convenient to all places in town and the Park entrance. An awesome breakfast restaurant attached to hotel with fast, fast service and good hot food & Coffee.

Perfect location and great vacation base. Terrific family hotel with an indoor pool and an awesome 100' water slide. Great value. Breakfast package is excellent and served so quick it is hard to believe. Great Coffee!!

We really enjoyed winding down with the pool/waterslide in the evening before bed. The room was OK, typical with what I pay $60 in Bozeman. I'm glad I got a discount because I would have been irritated to have paid full price +$100 for the room. The staff was very nice and the free breakfast was excellent. All in, I would have happily paid $85 with the amenities, but not $110.

The room is too small and not comfort, facility is too simple compared with the value to spend, the breakfast is not good as expected, not so much choice. The door is not easy to close and very noisy.

I booked same rooms for two non consecutive days andboth rooms were considerably different from each other for the same price.

Overall the hotel was not terrible. However it could stand to be updated. You are definitely paying for location not quality.

Fantastic hotel to stay for visiting YellowStone, good breakfast, clean room and good location.

Good location, friendly staff, clean comfortable room, highly recommended

Perfect place to stay for kids to swim, close to shopping and food places and to do day trips to Yellowstone for a family on a tight budget.

Location was great. Quick access to Yellowstone entrance as any hotel in this town would be. A little expensive for the age and cleanliness of hotel. Bed was comfortable and a restaurant was attached that offered 3 choices of breakfast that were free other than drinks, tax and tip. That was a huge savings and the food was good. We will look for a different hotel if we come to visit again. The water in our bath only offered luke warm water and you never had to turn the cold on. That was only using the hot water. Not sure if all rooms had this problem, but ours did.

Overall this was a poor experience at this inn. The rooms were old. You could hear the people in the next room and overhead easily. This kept us awake until late at night. The door to the room was crooked and old and wouldn't always close securely. The mattress was too hard. When we complained we found out that it was on the bed upside down, pillow top was on the underside. You had to go to the restaurant next door to get the complimentary breakfast and then only had two selections to choose from. Due to these poor conditions, we left two days early.

Waterslide was a big hit and is the reason we'd choose this hotel again. Otherwise, it was nothing special and expensive due to proximity to Yellowstone. Was great to be so close to park, and town is nice. We all went to playmill theatre - I highly recommend it as its a great production for a good price.

Day's Inn in West Yellowstone may be among the best available for the location. That is not saying a lot, but when one is looking for something worthwhile, Day's Inn will get the job done.
