The cabin is kept very clean and has everything you need for a weekend stay. We love the fireplace and the high ceilings where you can see the snow covered trees out the windows. Staff is extremely nice! Loved our stay here!

Pros: cute property, great location, nice room layout and deck, quiet Cons: irritable staff, poor shower, dirty carpets, cigarette smell, run down facilities and pool This room (107) worked for my family of four but for the cost, I guess I expected something a bit nicer. The lady at the front counter almost seemed bothered by our presence. The room itself was not very clean and smelled of cigarettes even though the rooms are non-smoking. I actually found a butt near the fireplace. The carpets are pretty nasty. The shower handle was ridiculous. Very difficult to turn on and off. It was also almost impossible to get it warm. There was no hot water...only warm. I had to skip a shower the first night because after my family showered, there was only cold water left. Ok the plus side, the rooms are well insulated and quiet. We were warm and did not hear noises during the night despite having neighbors and being right next to the main road. You could walk to the little town or drive quickly to Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear which was nice. The size of the room room with a king and and bunk bed worked quite well for me, my wife and our two teens. All in all it was a good trip but I’m sure there are better places out there.

Quaint and attractive cottages in a pretty setting in a village on top of a Calfornia mountain. The heated indoor pool and hot tub looked inviting, although we did not have time to use either. We would stay at this place were we to visit the area again.

Giant Oaks Lodge was a joy to stay at. The rooms were clean and orderly. The indoor pool with a separate jacuzzi was awesome. Our room was pretty close to the highway, but we never heard a thing. We would highly recommend this place. Nice owners as well.
